改めてアニメの実写化は原作の理解度だけじゃなく、溢れんばかりの原作への愛が必要だと教えられた

Every time I look at this I get angrier about Pasific Rim 2, even a low budget production has more physics in the robots than Pasific Rim 2.

Actually its intended on tv series in the philippines last 2023. Now migrate to japan this oct.18 a few episodes in cinema theater afterwards they release all episodes in their respective tv network. I hope your koreans tv network get license with tbis many 80s 90s koreans will experience this live action. Sure theyll like it.

The detail of the voltus robot is amazing, the combine scene the mecha detail n the action scenes are so good, the only lack is the cgi, the performance of the actors
It was in tagalog and Philippine culture. That might be the reason why you say the actors performance is lame. We have different culture. We don't usually shout, or do exaggerated shout. If this will be dubbed in your own language, thats when you will fully understand everything.

Voltes v is the original name in japanese production.
this is really weird when a spanish is claiming that the real name of this robot is Voltus. When it is named Voltes or Borutesu in Japanese.
It was originally voltes lol. Voltes is the direct translation of the japanese borutesu, not voltus

This could have been a great series, they should done this CGI all the way, the actors are lame, there are many useless dialogs, the acting is subpar. And the inside of Camp Big Falcon pretty much scream 80s power Rangers.

Im impressed on the animations but its unsetling to see and hear the subpar acting and dialogs. the robots themselves showed more imotions than the actors, even with the crying baby face. I mean a strong willed pilot do not cry like a baby when she is going to do something heroic. It is more convincing to see her strenght through a determined face with just tears. crying like a baby looks like she is forced to do the act and that she regreted her decision. And, the Voltes pilots… I wished they acted like real determined soldiers… like in the anime version, dispite thier actual age, they made me believe that they are not kids anymore. All i saw from all 5 of them were defeated 10 year olds. The robots were louder, bolder and more imotionaly radiant than the actors. Let that sink in.
This is the first time or attempt of GMA to create a live action. You should always think that although there are still some things that is lacking, you don't need to worry, because they are taking down notes to improve everything, if they will create another one of these. Instead of complaining more, you should instead say "Thank you for the hardwork". Also, this is in tagalog and in Filipino culture. We don't usually do shouting or exaggerated shout when communicating. If this will be translated in another language, everything and the feeling will be understood.
@@kasmotdmime The beauty of constructive criticism is to help recognize what can be improved on. What is wrong with saying “thank for your hardwork” on a subpar outcome or product is that you are incouraging mediocre results instead of exposing a challenge to improve or excel on. Beauty is universal, art transcends culture because we human can see and feel emotions where ever we are in the world. I enjoyed the beauty of the show but im also free to acknowledge flaws and think on my own and point out what can be improved on. So maybe i will be willing to see more of it.
@jimdcel probably because we're used to animes with their (i wouldn't say exaggerated voice, but i hope you get my point). For sure the japanese dub version would be more suitable for us.
They are trained soldiers but they're still kids. Their mother died right before their eyes. Even a grown man would cry. Sorry for my English.
@@jimdcel I would accept your criticism about subpar acting with anything else but I would humbly disagree when you say it's subpar acting when they cried. Watched the original anime and they are also crying there. And also, they are technically kids turning to young adults who just lost their mother. It's well justified for them to cry at the end sincei it's already the end of the battle, they can lower their guard down a little bit.
Parang na sira ata yong memories ko sa Voltes V. Balik nyo nalang sa hapon para maayos nila yong remake. I grew up watching this in the 80s and 90s. I prefer watching the old cartoons than this.
This Voltes 5 is weak. Kailangan pang iligtas ng mama nila ang lima. Anu ba yan.

Because they added human touch. In anime, the show is very fast pace.
and i don't consider it as sablay. Mas mahirap magdraw ng CGI compared na magdraw ka ng anime. Kaya halos lahat ng live action takes so many years to complete. Always remember that this is GMA's first attempt. Instead of complaining, say instead "thank you for the hardwork" because this is on free tv.
I actually liked that they digged deeper into the story. However, i do agree that some scenes were unnecessary, but overall, it was a great adaptation
