Nice! I bought and used one because I liked how light the paper color and dots were, but the ghosting drove me bananas. I'd written them off from other reviews, but this review has convinced me to give it a go! 🤓

I've been enjoying writing with Edison's 1.5 mm stub nibs. Looking forward to seeing how well this new Leuchtturm paper holds up. Thanks for the video!

I've been told the Zebra Sarasa Clip 0.5 is perfect for that notebook and paper quality

Told by whom? Ha. That’s a great pen though, works well under many scenarios.

@@unsharpen we have a few stores that sell them and some staff eager to share their opinions 🙂

I can't remember why I moved from Leuchtturm to Dingbats, but it may be time to give Leuchtturm another go.

Dotted pages vs ruled (lined) pages?

Great video! Any thoughts on this vs tomoe river paper for journaling with a fountain pen? I understand both are almost the exact opposite, but the im trying to strike a balance between fountain pen friendly papers and the long dry times of tomoe river lol.

Yeah, personally the long dry times on the tomoe river mean I can't journal with them, but many people do. I'd recommend something like a Clairfontaine for a middle ground. My favorite is midori but you won't get the shading/sheen from it you would from tomoe

Only PEB for me or Papelaria Emílio Braga notebooks, Classic since the 1920s, a Portuguese Manufacturer, all covered with marbled paper in various colors, 100 years of handicraft, stiched and painted by hand...The best EU notebooks!

Hi. Hope i can see this message. I am feeling in love with tech mechanical Pencils like kuru toga and zebra. They are pretty unique (if i need a simple mechanical pencil i buy the cheap 80 cents). Do u know other models that are unique like kuru toga and zebra? Thx for the reply.

Maybe try a body knock? I really like those

Thank you for a great review. I have 2 of these Leuchtturms in Teal & Navy, but lined. While they are of an impeccable construction, I still prefer my Clairefontaine & Rhodia notebooks over them. They are just a smoother writing experience, to me at least. Maybe I'm just opinionated, but it is based upon real time note-taking experiences with a variety of fountain pens. Happy Holidays 😊.

Yeah, that's totally fair. Many people prefer max smoothness, but I like a bit more texture. That's why I tend to use Midori or Silvine, where I think most fountain pen fans are with you, on a Rhodia, Tomoe River, etc

They have NOT the same number of pages. The original notebook has 249 pages, whereas the 120 gsm one has 206 pages. That is a decrease of 18.47%. Please check your facts!

Yea, I’m actually seeing 251 pages. Not sure what I was looking at. Thanks for the note.
