Thanks for the video , I put 2" castor's on my mini Kamado grill and it rolls from place to place nicely . I wish the manufacturer included them . Great little grills . Mine came with a busted firebox and I had to repair it . Food taste fantastic on these . Thanks again , I enjoyed the video and I will continue to cook different types of meat and sometimes share a little bit .
Great idea 💡 😀👍
Very enjoyable video Thank You
Great video
Thanks very much for your video. It's very entertaining.
I have a question about the way you put the meat to rest. You put an aluminium foil around the meat and the result was all the juice was out of the meat, just the opposite you intended.
I understand it's extremely difficult to cook a piece of meat properly, much difficult than many apparent difficult dishes and to put the meat at rest it's one of this process. I think it shoul be in a warm place and no longer than 4 or 5 minutes and not so close, then the juice will be inside the meat not outside.
Thanks for the beautiful videos you give us!!!
Excellent video, thanks!
Superb video tutorial, really enjoyed your video, I hope Lidl paid you a good commission for the PR …. Best of luck with your grill and thanks for sharing your wonderful knowledge. Have you uploaded video on how you initially fired up the grill and type of wood / BBQ coals used.
Enjoy your sunshine and BBQ’s …. Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪☘️☘️☘️🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
I wish they had paid me 😂 even just in food 🙂.
Yes the Tomakak steak 🥩 video I think it is where I run through starting up the lump wood. 👍
hi could you run through a low slow cook or is it possible considering the amount of lump it can hold. great videos mate well done
Hi Calvin. Many thanks for your comment. Yes it will run for about 4hrs on a low and slow so enough time to do a small lump of meat no issues.
Start with lighting a small amount of lump wood and bring it upto temperature. Then fill the fire basket with limo wood. And dial down the air vents.
If it holds stable at 120 for 15 mins then you know you are good to go.
Also worth buying or making a heat deflector plate too so the bottom of the meat won't burn.
I've got a video on making one. 🙂👍
What's limo wood?
chimichurri is perfect for steak
I may try some of that rub on my chicken. I would have some nice home cooked wedges on the side :-)
Yep this Cajun would do some fantastic chicken wraps
Love that chopping board Mr Ashton. When's the T shirt coming out?
It's on its way Mr Peel 😆 or maybe hoodies to go with the car stickers and wooden spoons 🤣
Wouaw 👏👏
Looks superb! Could you make a pizza in this?
Hi Marc, cheers. Yes you can do pizza too. I have a video doing just that if you look at my other videos. 🙂👍
Quick one - just picked one of these up yesterday, gutted didnt get the morrisons one instead but they arent out at the moment! Did you paint that grill of yours black or did it come like that? mine has come with a silver/stainless grill and the top vent cap is sort of a matte powder coated finish instead of what appears to be glossy like yours? Also - do you use a chimney starter with your lumpwood when starting the little kamado or do you put a woodie in with the lumpwood straight into the kamado?
Hi there. My grill is coated black from factory. Yours is the new version/ this year's and is a slight upgrade to mine which is last year's. When using a Kamado you don't need a chimney starter as you want the ceramic to heat up gradually. Check out my Tomahawk steak video as I run through how I light the Kamado. 😁😉👍🏻
@@1Pizza2Many will do thanks! really eager to get one of the larger kamados now lol
Can you recommend a rub for the steak that isn't too spicy as the missus is not keen on spicy
I'd make your own, so it's as spicy as you want. Start off with garlic and onion powder then add smoked paprika, black pepper, salt and then a bit of cayenne pepper for heat 🙂
@@1Pizza2Many Cheers for that 👍
chips for sure👍👍👍👍👍
Yep, and I've just done a good chip video 🤤😉
@@1Pizza2Many I saw the video yesterday I was looking for a good recipe using my ninja foodie, I haven't tried it yet, it looks very good
Brilliant, thanks for watching 😃
Shouldn’t you let that meat rest for at least 6-7 min before cutting?
A heat deflector would make it perfect.
Yes, currently playing with ideas on that.
@@1Pizza2Many I am thinking about using the bottom of a flower pot...
Yes seen that done a few times, but they often crack after a couple of heat cycles.
1 Pizza 2 Many thanks. Let us known if you find some other good option ! Cheers
@@murataht of you are on the "Budget Kamado" group on FB. There is a guy called Gavin Ball who sells a stainless steel kit for about £40 posted. I think he also has it listed on eBay.
😋😋👍
Extremely overcooked
Attempting 6kg pork leg this Sunday , let you know
Yep let us know how it goes 😃
I have seen so many videos of so many of you using this little machine. Sorry to say this, you have no clue what to do with it. I have cooked countless meats, veg , fish , everything really for 15 people at the time.
