Mine is roughly 1.98mm! The set I have came with 3 needle options and I used the smallest one available :) You can definitely try the 3mm but just keep in mind the size of the hole it punches compared to the size of your yarn, hopefully this helps you in some way

i got the same supplies as you and my loops are so big :( what needle should I use?
You can adjust the needle to make it shorter so that the loops are smaller! :)

Can I ask the diameter of ur punch needle? I got one with a diameter of 3mm will that work?
