A waxy or firmer holding gel or wax will work better, possibly hairspray before braiding to keep the hair in the braid and help it hold onto itself better 👍🏻 great braid tho
Just did one today , it hurts a lil bit like someone is pulling out your hair , but I had no headache when person was braiding my hair and not even after it was done .
I wish she would use more product and that she would show people how to hide short pieces of hair ( you need to take much more of a little sections and doing it tighter so the hair doesn’t stick out) not bad but this is definitely not professional 🤷🏽♀️

Europeans have been braiding their hair for thousands of years and native American hair is more like European hair than African hair. You're talking absolute nonsense. I'm going to need your women to stop straightening their hair and wearing blonde weave/dying their hair blonde. If we go down the route that cultures can't share, then I think you'll find that blacks will be left with nothing of use. You won't have modern medicine, plumbing, cars, the wheel in general, air travel, electricity, etc. The list could go on all day. Be careful what you wish for.

One of my friends has no textured hair in their family however they got cornrows while on a holiday in a small village and they turned out beautiful they didn’t ruin the hair everyone was happy and looked fantastic.
