Heck yes! Let’s get you PAID, Abbey! Your videos are so great and you deserve all the best in terms of sponsors and brands to support you. I’m a minimalist myself and I appreciate your approach to this video. Stationery is like candy to me-and tends to be where I break my own rules 😇 My top 3 for this year so far: 1. Kaweco brass sport. My 2nd fountain pen and luckily I love it! 2. Tried-and-true Tombow Fudenosuke brush pen for quick illustrations 3. Kokuyo dotliner adhesive. The sheath to expose the tape is so fun to play with.
It's not easy to get a good stamped image on an uneven surface. Two miscellaneous stamping tips I have: 1. Always test a new stamp on scratch paper first. You'll find that some brands require more pressure than others. And 2. If you don't get a good impression in your notebook, stamp on a piece of nice paper, cut it out, and adhere it over the flubbed one. 😅
Excellent video Abbey! Gratefully appreciate the passion in your products. What was your favourite moment? Your handwriting and drawings are pretty lovely! 🥰
Oh I got the mini stamp set for the SF Pen Show too, so cute! And had the same results lol that's what I'll say next time my stamping isn't perfect: it adds character 😅
Yessss get those sponsorships, you deserve it!! You work so hard on these videos and I am all for you getting paid more for it ❤ Especially since it’s easy to see that your opinions are always honest and transparent. I have the Galen Leather slip n zip in brown and it’s so useful, and also I feel so fancy whenever I take it out journaling 😂
Thanks so much Christine, appreciate it 🫶🏻 you have my word on keeping everything transparent and honest! Omg haha I've yet to take it out but I'm excited now lol
Wow, I stumbled across your channel and I have to say - I’m instantly hooked! Your videos are detailed, but not boringly so. I love your journaling style, very aesthetically pleasing and artistic. I’m a fountain pen enthusiast as well and loved seeing some new ones (which are now on my wishlist). Thank you 😊
I bought the Denali series from hobo so I bought a twsbi (transparent blue) to match. I also bought my first sample of Kon Peki ink. I don’t know why I waited this long before I tried it. These are my favorite supplies now. I guess I am just in a blue phase of my life. 💙💙💙
Hi Abbey, I recommend using a smaller stamping block. It makes things much easier, especially when you’re stamping close to the center of the notebook. Also, it’s great to put a mouse pad (soft side facing upwards) or something similar (soft plastic wrapping etc.) underneath the page to get an even impression. Thank you for the video ❤
thanks for the suggestion! unfortuanately I don't want to buy another stamping block just for smaller stamps, I think ultimately I should have stamped on a more flat surface for a better impression :)
yaaaay summer travel stationery 🙌 back from the US toooo ^^ after travelling for the whole summer, I'd say my favourite stationery item is the TN cotton zipper 😚 sooo practical for storing ephemera !
Love that you are taking time to care for yourself. As an influencer, it's important to illustrate self care to your patrons as well. All the best in new endeavors! Where can I find the sticker book?>>
Enjoyed meeting you at the SF International Pen Show. I attended your last workshop. It was great getting to see your travel journals irl. Thanks for sharing your expertise!
Love that your sponsored recommendations especially when the items are accessible in the US! I do think it would be helpful to mention the price range (affordable- expensive) of some of the products before getting so excited about them and then finding out it’s out of my reach!😂
You can go ahead and click the links in the description to see the price range. Generally I don't suggest anything beyond $100 except for fountain pens.

Your pen collection is sweet, ngl. Loved the video you did with yoseka stationery and I’m in awe of the pens. Do you still live in Berlin and do you try out these expensive pens here or when you travel? I’ve never touched any of those expensive pens and I would love to know what the fuss is about. I only dare buy cheap pens but this leads to overconsumption. But… I have no clue what store in Berlin would eben be carrying a sailor pro gear slim etc. Do you have a store you’d recommend?
Thanks! I try out the pens when I travel. Luckily my work trips always involve going to the US so I mostly buy there or in Manila when I visit home. Japanese pens are expensive in Berlin, but if you want to try, head to Papeterie Moranga in Nollendorfplatz. Luisa (owner) is so kind and accommodating and you can purchase Sailors there.
Hey Abbey, I met you at your booth at SF Pen Show but you were busy attending to other people so I couldn't say hi. You left minutes after and I couldn't find you. Anyway, it was cool to see you IRL.
Every time I look on Patreon the mail tier is sold out - is there a time each month you need to sign up. You mentioned it in this video which is 8 hours old but I can never sign up for this tier.
It's actually refreshing to hear what you said about over consumption. Thank you for saying that ❤ 😊
moving forward I hope to talk about this more and make it something people take into consideration :)

Everyone needs to have a break sometimes! ❤ Sarica Studio is definitely one of my stationery faves from this year, so glad I stumbled across her shop.
