A good alternative to the index tabs are book darts! A recent discovery for me and are an instant favourite. They're also thin metal tabs, but don't protrude from the book - useful for me since I carry my journal with me often and don't want tabs snagging in my bag. I use them for books as well, for marking passages that I can then write in my commonplace book or reading journal. Some of my favourite books have book darts in them permanently, pointing to favourite scenes.

😮I've never seen writing smaller than half a 5mm grid. That's some small notes. 👍🏻Those Midori tabs are superb. I use them a lot too. I do want a portable photo printer but just cannot make my mind up as to which one to get.

So even with that instax you can edit your photos so that they come out not grainy looking it’s kind of a pain to have to edit them sometimes if you’re doing a few of them at the time but they don’t have to be grainy, but if that’s what you like then you know it’s not broke don’t fix it. I have a couple of printers myself and I love them. You can use the cannon to print other sizes as well.

The original refill though, I just have to admit I do not really like. I've been using the ones originally used by the Signo 207? I think. Which ones do you use?

Do you find the cost of photos to add up for the Canon Selphy? Especially in Canada where our deals are worse haha. Just wondering what your experience is. I’m wondering if I should just go for a normal printer and get photosheets
Hmmmm I haven’t run a cost analysis of printer vs selphy bc I didn’t want to replace my laser printer/buy a new one. It probably depends on how many photos you print, as well as space! The selphy is much smaller than a standard printer so also something to consider
actually the pictures from the canon cp1500 are supposed to last for 1000 years! It's mentioned on the canon site :) and it's possible to select different sizes, e.g. similar to instax. But, cp2500 isn't travel friendly.

I use zebra sarasa refills in 0.5mm in the colour brown grey! And yesss there’s v solid for a plastic pen body! Also love the clip!

It would be great if the canon selphy printed the full 4x6. Not a fan of the white border of the images.

I have the selph cp1500 and the photos are always dark and with a blue ish tone...kinda disapointed
I find they can lean blue too, so if a photo has a really blue photo, I edit it to be a little less saturated and I find that helps
