Backpack: for longer excursions or hunting trips where heavier or bulkier loads are expected, a framed pack is optimal. For example, a Kuiu Suspension with 4000LT bag is about 3lbs 14oz, but can haul loads in excess of 100lbs, and even though the main pack only holds about 65liters volume, the pack has extra load carrying capacity by putting additional items between the bag and frame.

Looks like a lower cost set up than most I see. You spent money where needed mainly on the big three. The lightest belt buckle I have found is a Fastex Tri Glide at about 3 grams.
