This second Gojira album is a powerhouse. Bought it when it came out, I have the 2003 Boycott edition. So 20 years have passed, I haven't listened to it in a long time, I must say it's still a great listen today 🤘🌳🤘

Dope album
This album is way ahead of its time and there's nothing quite like it. Its basically from space compared to how predictable and basic modern metal has become.
It has so many weird sounds, cadences, transitions. The link itself is like 3 different songs. Tons of genres sprinkled across the album. Truly is a visionary masterpiece given how young they were when they made it.
This guy gets it. This album is a delight to prog metal fans. It's one of the most unique stuff I've ever listened in the world of metal. I can only dream that Gojira will tap into these experimental stuff again. What we can do is cherish this album every single day, I've been doing this for years.
glad to see this band get the recognition it deserves and bringing the devil back into metal lmao, will never forget being exposed to Backbone from From Mars to Sirius and it's been about 15 years of me being a fan!
how i feel you ! gojira follow me since like 15-17years i grow with their albums see them coming from a reference beetween metalhead; to bring one of the most metal period of my country in music to the face of the world with Marina Viotti and their chorus in the olympics, it was... so HUGE honnestly it bring me a tear !

I am not a newcomer ... I just want to express my disapproval that at the Olympics Gojira performed in the context of the mockering of the last supper of Jesus. Metal music usually brings people together, it does not divide. Gojira decided to support mockerig with their performance, they chose to divide. I am disgusted.

This record has really grown on me. Production is thin even remastered but songwriting is good. Solid album.
This Listenable Records upload sounds thinner and more compressed than the Gojira band uploaded versions of the song

Amazing technical death metal talent!
Even though i got introduced to Gojira during a live set with "The way of all flesh" album/tour i can really appreciate their older stuff but TWOAF still remains my favorite, partly because of my amazing experience of them live. Remembrance is so powerful though, no scratch that this whole album is powerful

Gojira sound literally nothing like Sepultura bro, i could go into a number of different nuances about both bands music which make them completely different but i fear you would be too stupid to understand so i will keep it on the most basic b**ch level i can for you. They arent even the same metal sub genre. Gojira have never been a thrash band and Sepultura have never played progressive death metal.
