Fam, this was the VERY FIRST game I ever played. My father introduced my older brother and I when I was only three years old, and by the time I was four, I knew how to play. To this day, this game, this entire series, has been among the greatest parts of my gaming life. As soon as the beat drops at 2:13, WHOOOOO-WEEEE, my smile is wider than Quark’s shoulders.
The game that started it all for me. Man, these were such great times playing the game late at night with my Dad and eventually finishing it myself. This is a certified classic fr.
The best game ever! Good old days playing with my little brother and staying up in night just to finish the mission. Crazy how times goes away and I’m 26 years old. Still love this game and very nostalgic too!
I never played the original Ratchet and Clank games on the consoles. But I did play Size Matters and Agent Clank on my PSP. And then when I got my PS3, I started playing Tools of Destruction and the other game. Then I played the remake of the first game, and now I've played Rift Apart. So, for the most part I'm a little behind in the story, but that doesn't meant I can't catch up. You know, it's interesting seeing where this whole saga began. Here I am thinking Ratchet always wanted to be a hero, but he was arrogant, selfish, and for the most part, while intelligent, had to think on the job quite a bit. It makes for an interesting contrast to the remake where Ratchet was dreaming of being a hero and a Galactic Ranger.
1:07:21: This bit right here scared me so much as a kid. 😰 1:29:18: And this bit too I could never get pass. 😞 Also, why can’t you use the Omni-wrench at times when enemies are close. Easier to take them out or do damage.
I think this is the game I helped a dorm mate with back in 2018. I just wish I could actually recall the name of the game so I can be sure it's this game. I guess I'll have to scour through the gameplay to see if I find the ship part Edit: I remember having to collect screws or whatever they're called. I also don't remember what my dormmate was struggling with, nor why I managed to do it as easily as I did, despite the fact I'd never played the game before, nor had I heard of it. I don't even think I looked at the controller much either, I just used my right thumb, both index fingers and middle fingers to feel my way to the correct buttons
Forgot which game it was but when they had Ratchet and Clank with Weapons and a TON of mods per wep. Was the best game until my disc was scratched and wouldn’t load anymore
YO WHEN DID THIS GAME GET PORTED TO THE PS5?! Are all of them ported to the PS5. That would be cool and people will see just how unnecessary the games after A Crack in Time were.
Better days, better games. The last one was a disney like slob, and the remake was bad. OG trilogy was more like old school cartoons like Johnny Bravo. They had adult jokes and some edge to them, nowadays everything is so dull, lame and filled with leftist propagandas it makes me sick. Shame.
This was the first game I played. And it got me introduced to the ratchet and clank franchise and the community. It was one of the hardest but also the edgy games of my childhood. Absolutely love it. Really hope insomniac games can make a new ratchet and clank game after the spider man franchise. Rift apart is also one of my favorite games of the insomniac games library. 🥹🥹😄😄😃😃🥺🥺

back in the day when games where actually fun and you didnt have 20 buttons to learn
These games were awesome
Donkey Kong is still GOAT
and no unfinished product that you have to update every month for bug fixes
Yes. I love games, but too many of them are functionally overly complicated now. I’d say 2000s had a good balance between retro and modern styles
I never got to finished this game, glad to see it through this video
