Joseph Beller was my great grandfather. Since my childhood, I was alway told about his work on the Dixie Terminal. He was such an amazing artist, and a loving father to his children.
The ramps from the Suspension Bridge (now known as the Roebling Bridge) to the upper part of the terminal served the trolleys and buses from the Covington side. Buses from Newport on the Central Bridge to 3rd St in Cincinnati and entered the terminal building on the lower level.
Great bldg. That I remember taking the early green line buses into for shopping downtown. Must ask, with such great info, why no photos to match such as the ramps or the entrance doors you described in detail, just the same one stock photo?
I know this was from a month ago but I know that Bruce Willis was in Cincinnati shooting for a movie. I don't know which one because my memory is horrible but you might be right.
. Throwing people here and there in America put artisans of masterful capabilities in places where they could exercise their creativity. That was Cincinnati

First time heard of this building. From outside it doesnt look like a terminal. Next time I am downtown, I will check it out. Thanks for sharing!
I'm glad you learned something new! The Dixie Terminal truly is a unique landmark, and you'll be surprised by its grandeur on the inside.
These Cincinatti buildings have to have been used in movie production. This has got the Untouchables written all over it.

I would've liked to seen more pictures and video of all the details described.
