@@Rogue.Rider0 that's a stretch. From the factory with 35s and the 2.7 Turbo? Falling on its face. Really? But honestly I like this video because this obviously is a Jeep guy that is not being crazily biased. The fact is the majority of Jeep folk get the pentastar engine that can't hold a candle to the 2.7. The drivetrain on the Bronco for the most part destroys what keep offers. Even the diesel pretty much puts up the same numbers with an inferior transmission. Say what you will the numbers speak for themselves here. However with the Gladiator I can say jeep definitely has something that ford does not even offer at least until they put the ranger on this platform which they plan on doing.
@@Rogue.Rider0 I've taken my H3 on plenty of trails that most people would consider "only for lifted/modified jeeps." Does very well. Has front/rear lockers, heavy skids/sliders, 35s, tiny ride height adjustment. Does huge wheel stands in the rough stuff (Had about 5' under the front left in one place on holy cross)... That gets the pucker factor going!
Jeep maybe better at rock crawling since the front is a solid axle, bronco has irs up front which is better for going fast off roading(forgot the name lol
I think you misunderstood the trail turn assist. Its not a hydraulic steering system to make it easier to turn larger tires while on obstacles. From what I read the rack and pinion steering is electric assisted... I think it is a braking system that will lock the inner wheels and allow the outer wheels to spin so you can make a tighter turn on a trail. But I could be mistaken.
I would never compare a Jeep to the bronco! I would never buy a Chrysler! But I will gladly give them my money for this new bronco! I think I’m ready to join a cult! I’m not even a off-roader, and I’m already obsessed! The bronco cult nation! It is just unbelievable! I can’t stop watching new bronco videos! So amazing! And finally something new, fresh, and exiting! Auto makers own us all! We never get to choose awesome car designs. We just gladly sit at home and wait for new awesome designs! Auto makers always sell us boring shit, and we gladly buy. It’s time for fresh fun car designs! Like this 2021 bronco! Even people will buy this and use it for a grocery getter. It’s just so much fun and flys over all pot holes! Not to mention how Moab will never be the same! This will quickly become an American obsession!! Thank you Ford! I hope other auto makers are taking notice! They should! Stop selling us shit products and actually get some work done and use your imagination! When they designed the new bronco, they actually cared! Good job! And the reviews are already through the roof! And we are still 10 months away from the bronco hitting dealerships! Again, thank you Ford! I think Henry Ford would be proud of your work!
CJ Great unbiased review, I was going to buy a jeep this august, JK, will be holding off for the Bronco, really dig the door storage, Very impressive and aggressive looking
Wrangler owner several times over. Think I’m gonna jump to Bronco 2door. (Always been a 2 door wrangler guy) The only thing is gas mileage and highway driving - my wrangler is a mess over 70 miles per hour - would def be swayed if the ride is nice and stable at 75-80 and the gas mileage comes in better than my wrangler:I will also say that for me the wrangler 4 door always seemed off in scale visually - aesthetically too long looking.... I think the bronco 4 door has done a better job with styling to make it feel more visually appealing. The interior of the bronco is just flat out better. It’s thoughtful- for today’s buyer: By Ford keeping everything hush hush - they have also cornered the market on aftermarket - which was in my opinion the smartest move a car company has done in quite a while: they’re a year ahead of the aftermarket community - sealing the deal on a huge amount in additional sales for their release. Just my opinion - I’m sure there are opposing thoughts... I will say - the reveal was lame AF. They should have done a live walk around / climb in - after the reveal trailer. Opportunity lost for more social engagement. They were trending (down the list) - but they should have been top trending all night. Great review bud. ✌️
Decent enough video, but WTF is up with all the speed? Speed in the desert. Speed over rocks. Speed through puddles. Get real. No one drives like that for long unless they are doing a Raptor Jump...
can't asy how the ride on the road will be, but know quite a few ecoboost mustang guys getting 28+ mpg the gas mileage(at least on the 2.3 eco) should be a good thing
saw a few reviews trying to get the jump. This is the best and most comprehensive review, especially based on the information that's actually available (and not speculation). Nice job, Matt! Thanks!
I've been so impressed with the late model Wranglers and how their on-road manners are so vastly improved in the past decade, and yet still retain such amazing off-road abilities. The Bronco has a tough row to hoe. We'll see...
CJ Off-Road How long has the Raptor been around now? Ford already told this story via competitive off road competitions, so time has already told us that ford has become dam near perfect at building tough, winning mechanics in their vehicles! So now” time won’t tell us anything about ford we don’t already know however, it should tell us something about Jeep we don’t know since they’ve been in this category Undisturbed with no competition for so long. Jeep was our go to company since there wasn’t anyone else. So for that reason I think The winner will be determined by unit sales. With ford the hype could last for 10 yrs in a row! Lol! Just Look at their history! The escort was the lead selling subcompact car for about 8 yrs in a row in the eighties and the Taurus was the number one selling car for 10 yrs in a row back in the nineties! Therefore my prediction is that ford will have more off road MPV sales than anybody else in that category for the next 10 yrs at least! Lol!

I just pumped they make 2dr, standard shift, 4wd. All the other crap doesn’t make as much difference to me. Vehicle culture has been dominated by 4dr full size vehicles for too long
Bronco interior looks AMAZING. Halo Warthog vibes. The packages look great too. Straight from the dealer the Bronco seems to be better equipped. However, the Jeep has heritage and tons of parts/support. Both are EXCELLENT offroad vehicles. I love this competition! Can't wait to see if other manufacturers want to step into this competition too...
Raion Shishi that’s for the 4door number I listed were for 2door for both Jeep and ford. 4 door yes. It’s 635 4 door Ford 690 4 door Jeep. It’s NOT that different. The bronco will be able to handle A LOT of major rock trails. (Keep in mind that’s only the JL) older Jeeps are worse.
The Bronco will probably have the same fate in a couple of years like the FJ and get *CANCELLED.* 😂😂😂. They came and went and Wrangler kept going year after year. We all know the Wrangler will never get discontinued as Jeep is nothing without the Wrangler carrying them.

@@robertweiss6349 Jeep already teased a pic of a Wrangler hood with s scoop saying 392 and the timing is quite suspicious since that was also on Monday. I think that was a direct shot to the Bronco. Hopefully Jeep is serious about it because people will pay for it for sure.
I was really hoping for an independent front suspension from the JL. Its a great vehicle, but just doesn't do roads all that well. IFS can handle all the off-road but the extreme rock crawling. Bronco should be more versatile while still having great capability.
Fantastic review! I personally have had a wrangler, and was about to find a used one last week. But with the new reveal of the Bronco. I reserved mine Tuesday morning.....
Ford probably had other ideas at the time! They already have a plethora of other SUV's and crossovers that garner a stronger demographic. Off roading is still a niche market and ford for the longest time probably didn't see any money in having a body on frame brute with 35inch tires. But ever since the Ford F150 Raptor came out it kinda changed the tune for ford. And in 2020 off roading is as popular as ever.

@@CJBroncoF150 I will agree. Most of those who will switch are kinda the 'fake Jeepers', the people who buy just for looks, status and mall-crawling. Those same people will turn to the Bronco because it's fresh and all-new and want style points. That's mostly where the Jeep sales will slide. That's not to say that there will be those who are actually loyal to the Jeep brand who will trade their crawlers for a Ford, and I myself want to give the new Bronco a try.
J G all we did was camping and some mild trail/creek traverse (I guess I could do that in a Subaru!). Next I wanna see Toyota reintroduce an FJ40, Chevy to do an actual Blazer, and Dodge make an all new Ram Charger!
CJ Off-Road finally they had to tactically release something to make people hold off from buying the Bronco and wait for the Hemi Jeep . Pretty cool because it has to have different gearing or axels I’d assume for the new power . Wish they’d just get on with it and say they are releasing the wrangler with the hellcat engine and call it the Mountain Lion ,HillCat BobCat or my favorite Chupacabra Horse hunter 🦁😂🤣.
Great idea to be able to store the doors, but where would you store the roof panels? No mention of that in any video. In a storm, you’d still get soaked if you can’t store the roof panels.
Extremely fair evaluation! Since you own a Jeep, I expected a Bronco bash, but was pleasantly surprised to see it was based on facts and not personal preference! Appreciate reviews that go off the stats, Well done!
Agreed but the 2.3l is probably gonna be more reliable and Ecoboost Mustangs with the same engine have done 500whp from a dealer (jalopnik.com/heres-how-you-can-get-a-500-hp-ecoboost-mustang-for-und-1794414216) I wonder if that same dealer will be willing to do a Ecoboost manual Bronco with 500hp!
We'll see how it does in a couple years after the Hype is settled down. You never know the Bronco might have the same Fate as the FJ and get Discontinued especially if O.J. gets his hands on one😂.
I feel like this is some much needed competition. Finally spurred Jeep to do a diesel and a hemi option! Not sure these would have happened if the new Bronco wasn't announced.

@@mustangford7868 the 2.3L is known for head gasket issues, and their transmission is fairly new. Plus, I would rather have a naturally aspirated engine than a turbo engine. Naturally aspirated are more reliable long term.
Very true. I'm so sick of the problems Wrangler's have. This is due to no real competition for Jeep. Crap engines, price tags beyond sanity, garbage transmissions and so forth.
Worked for jeep for years as a service advisor. I've never seen a sway bar disconnect issue. Not even once. Even with completely modified suspensions. Not sure where he gets his info. Either way. The new Bronco looks dope
When I was a teen I always wanted a Bronco then they disappeared before I could get a new one. I have owned five wranglers over the years and never thought I would own anything else. Ford R&D hit a home run with this and if Jeep does not get their act together I will be one of the many to jump ship. I like the more minimalist look of the Wrangler but the Bronco has better functionality. Glad to see the Wrangler finally get legit competition to drive innovation and ultimately benefit the driver. Great video too.
Wait 2 years until they weed out the tweaks on the Bronco. The dealers will ask $10k -15k over sticker for the first year on a nicely equipped Bronco. The wrangler is already sorted out. But the Bronco is sweeeeeeet. The ford Bronco is fab inside and out...
Outstanding review. You touched on all the spots. I'm a Jeep Wrangler guy but I would easily consider this for my next 4x4. Option for 35's, 360 degree camera, and touch remote entry are nice upgrades for the Bronco vs. Rubicon. My biggest complaint about the JL is the fuel capacity - wish they had a much larger tank. One life to live, man. Go have fun. $50,000 in debt is huge if you do not have the income to oay for that Jeep. If you cannot pay for it, they will repossess in a year. So make a wise decision.

Finally, the answer to "what to replace my H3 with in 10 years from now" has arrived... A used Bronco 2 door with the Sasquatch package.
Your answer should've been H1 and upgrade that to Cummins and Alison transmission.
My brother loves his h3.
Although id love to furst to get a bronco. But i may wait ti see buggs get found and knocked out in 2022. Cheer.
Jeep is still king. I loved my H3 but it couldn't do what my jeep does. This Bronco will fall on it's face on MOAB trail. Jeep is king there.
I've been waiting on this since it was announced years ago! 💯❤

Jeep maybe better at rock crawling since the front is a solid axle, bronco has irs up front which is better for going fast off roading(forgot the name lol
Bronco #1 enough said!
Social engagement during a pandemic...
Keen perspective!👍
Decent enough video, but WTF is up with all the speed? Speed in the desert. Speed over rocks. Speed through puddles. Get real. No one drives like that for long unless they are doing a Raptor Jump...
can't asy how the ride on the road will be, but know quite a few ecoboost mustang guys getting 28+ mpg the gas mileage(at least on the 2.3 eco) should be a good thing

Competition is good, it keeps you on your toes and as people have been saying, Ford hit it out of the park with the Bronco.
I've been so impressed with the late model Wranglers and how their on-road manners are so vastly improved in the past decade, and yet still retain such amazing off-road abilities. The Bronco has a tough row to hoe. We'll see...
Time will tell!
CJ Off-Road
How long has the Raptor been
around now?
Lol!
That new Bronco needs to be taken down the Rubicon trail.

Feels like Ford took a long time trying to 1 up everything on the wrangler.
Not just 1 up in some cases, completely crush them.

I think a lot of jeep owners will switch!
