Wow, I'm sorry that you broke your ankle. I'm glad to see that didn't stop you from riding. Your story sounds a lot like mine. I started on a scooter and got into EUC out of sheer curiosity. Teaching myself how to ride is an experience that I'll never forget. It took months of busting my knees, ankles, shins, elbows, wrists, etc. Every nightI would put ice packs on and take hot baths in essential oils. The next day I would grit my teeth, fight through the pain, and try it again. My friends telling me that, at 50 years old, I'm too old to be trying something like this only strengthened my resolve. I practiced at truck stops in front of hundreds of people, not caring if I was being laughed at by other truck drivers. I honestly think this is probably going to be the last big challenge of my life, so I'm going to make the most of it, so should you.
This is and absolutely amazing video. I've never met another EUC rider before, so I would be thrilled just to be around other people who love this as much as I do.
@@PEVPOV Unfortunately at this time I live in a town called Oceana, WV. I have lived all over the USA and I have been in this town for the last 4 years and I still don't feel comfortable. At this time, I have to be here. The closest cities to me are Charleston, Beckley, and Princeton, but I haven't been able to find a group or a single rider.

I was on this ride too. The fast ride, Friday night, DC Groundings. Ripping through the woods in the dark, and those steep hills in a new city was intense! I was in the group that was running behind. Just a lot of unexpected stuff in the dark at high speed. You captured it perfectly though. This is what it looked like.
@ I watched this just this morning 😂. We EUC fans love long videos bro, Marty has the right idea. Especially when you're talking, you make the video far more interesting. What I meant was the amazing route you spoke about during the video, you mentioned the wealthy people compound route and some other dope spots that I would love to see...in daylight lol.

I bought a Lynx with a street tire as my first wheel about a month ago, learned to ride it, and I put Grizzla pads and seat, E-Rides pedals on it. I’m learning by watching all you guys, and having fun.
Awesome video my guy. I was there riding my Begode rs19 hs. Sadly I got caught in the rain and my wheel got damaged. Part of the shell was cracked before, so it is what it is. I later got a loaner from Domo of a Sherman Max. That made the trip last great.
Here in Michigan gets cold also it's called 6 more weeks of winter that's way we don't have a spring it's because the winter drags on now this year I'm surprised that we had an early spring it's been years since we had a early spring hopefully for 2025 we have another early spring finger's 🤞
Have you guys all got together to travel to NY for there pev I was there this year in July alot of pev's every were big groups hopefully you guys Join them for, next year.
