As a Greenlandic person studying in Denmark, I was surprised to stumble upon this song, it describes my feeling very well.
My music classes are listening to some songs from around the Arctic regions of the globe and your song was our representative of Nunavut- the kids loved it! Thank you for such a great video and for representing the musical diversity of the northern regions!
Not only is Nunavut beautiful, the singer and nature are, too. I wish we could see inuit countries as nations and cultures in their own rights with their own languages, flags, traditions, instead of part of "Denmark", "Canada", "Alaska/USA". Most people know the Canadian flag, for example, but how many can describe what Nunavuts flag looks like ? I have had the privilege of visiting Greenland, and I think that lack of knowledge, indifference and prejudice are what makes so many non-inuit know so little about the arctic people up North ... if you open up your eyes and ears, there's a lot to learn and explore !
love this song keep it up angela
