    3:08 "not together.. we don't hang out" Does anyone get the feeling they actually don't get on that well in real life? Or it's just a professional relationship? It seems, and I've seen this in other videos, that Adam is keen to point out that they aren't the kind of people who socialise outside of work. I kinda find that sad, I don't know why.

    • @eddielane9569
      @eddielane9569 4 роки тому +1

      It is professional and nothing more. They are so different that they don't have a social relationship outside work. So sad.

      If you listen to Adam in interviews and his book, they both respect each other totally. Their personalities are different and what they do for fun is too different for them to enjoy each other after work.

    Real ignorance is dividing people by mere political labels like liberal or conservative and then claiming that they destroy your freedoms, when all you do is look down upon others. That kind of arrogance is what actually destroys freedoms.

    Jamie dislikes interviews, but then he also dislikes being on camera in general. I can relate, but he's been quoted as saying that he has to remember from time to time that the annoying cameras getting in the way of what he's doing is actually WHAT he's doing... so he's been learning patience with all of this "popularity" nonsense.

  • @Nater389
    @Nater389 12 років тому

    "Actions?" Not sure what you're referring to. You prove my point, as it has everything to do with my freedoms. I'm not disrespecting, just whole heartily disagreeing with a fundamental frame of mind. Interesting that you disregard "right and wrong" twice in the same paragraph as though it wasn't important. Whether you realize it or not, you prove my point exceptionally well.

  • @pacoperkid13
    @pacoperkid13 11 років тому

    If you are trained right then you shouldn't be annoying. There is a right way to do interviews and a wrong way. And this is the wrong way, I will give her credit for doing it even though she is inexperienced however it can be intimidating to do. But I do not feel the need to argue any further since I have made my point clear and there is nothing more to discuss. Thank you and have a nice day.

    Another person would argue that conservatives use freedom as an excuse irresponsibly while still actually undermining its intent and point while democrats are pragmatic enough to know that freedom is only as good as stability will allow it to be, hence why moderates are all fleeing from away from conservatives.
    See? It's so incomplete to just label a party as "freedom hating". Even without anything solid, the idea that conservatives maintain freedoms can be spun as the opposite.

    I agree. im strongly against evolution, abortion, etc.,but each persohat he believes it doesnt mean hes right or wrong. now i vote for the person that is smart, knows what hes taking about etc. but you cant force someone to beleive what you do, however you can give a strong arguement and encourage them to but by cussing it wont work. I am sorry if i affended you i didnt mean to.

    Nationalized healthcare doesn't work very well. Also, we can't afford it, especially if we give amnesty to all the illegals currently living in the US (another issue). I have family that lives in Canada. They come across the border for their healthcare because nationalized healthcare doesn't function well at all. It sounds grand, but it isn't.

    There is no point to argue with you, or anyone like you. The fundamental, ideological differences are too great. One side will never convince the other. Go ahead and support the building of an ever-growing constituency base dependent 100% on government. We'll see how long that lasts.

MANY of your "most vulnerable" don't do a damn thing to help themselves. I do not agree with that. How the hell do you try to label me a racist based off of what I've said?! Total ignorance. You can't argue with stupid.

    Lol...I would unfortunately have to agree with you that about half the country would rather have the government provide them with services and hand-outs for free, rather than earn them themselves as people in this country once did. Keep in mind, barely over half the population even votes or pays taxes, kinda skews your whole "half the population" assertion.

    Did you ever think that some people are conservative when aligned with a FEW issues while absolutely opposing the rest? What about the people who are moderate but are voting conservative just because of the economy despite the fact that they think that they are ABSOLUTELY BONKERS on everything else? I assure you those people exist. Do you call those people freedom-hating? Do think they'll get walked on, unlike people like you who just espouse the virtues of one party without thinking?

    The ignorance...I agree. Don't get me wrong I'm a huge Mythbusters fan. However, that doesn't make liberals any less ignorant.

  • @windscar18
    @windscar18 12 років тому

    Why do I need to call out an example when you have refused to call out one on how liberals take away freedoms? You have to realize that I'm a moderate and I don't have much of a preference on liberal or conservative. What I hate is this crap that you get to call a party as freedom-hating without pointing out an example and spread propaganda based on your beliefs. You'll notice that I have not specifically said "conservatives are freedom-hating". I say some people might say this similar to you.

  • @windscar18
    @windscar18 12 років тому

    Yes, I've called you names because someone had the idea that bigotry towards a political party is somehow better than the idea of different political ideas shared. It really does make me feel sick that people like you trounce around proclaiming the ideas of "My party is god, your party sucks" without seeing that you can't claim things as black and white as that. You know what freedoms the conservatives take away? Abortion? Gay rights? Hell, some conservatives don't want evolution taught.

  • @windscar18
    @windscar18 12 років тому

    Hell, you know what? I apologize. I apologize for calling your way of mind as disgusting, because it's worse than that. It's naive. It's utterly and absurdly stupid. If a different political ideal was enough to make someone look either stupid or anti-freedom, then the country would have fallen apart a long time ago. It's the inability to compromise, to weigh different ideas and to accept that others are good people regardless of their political nature...that's what shreds freedom, by definition

  • @windscar18
    @windscar18 12 років тому

    Your point isn't worth shit because I, as a moderate, find both the left and the right have positives and negatives with regards to freedoms. Then, I have the human decency to divorce political beliefs from giving respect to those who deserve it. And you, in all your gall, dare try to imply that these actions would make me an easy target for tyrants and insidious government policies? That's a disgusting way of perceiving anyone outside of your party. It's truly truly awful.

    Perhaps in fantasy land, but in the real world, almost every interviewer out there is annoying. Ask any celebrity or well known person. She has energy and real life personality, not fake personality that's been imposed by going to school for it, which any person with a brain can recognise and not really appreciate.

  • @TheFrozenthia
