- Suhr V63+(ML) My favourite single coil pickup on 3 different Strat style guitars.
Guitar 1: PLAYTECH ST250 ($100)
Guitar 2: Fender American Performer Stratocaster ($1,500)
Guitar 3: Suhr Classic S Antique ($3,500)
Super video. It answered my question. I have a 300$ korean strat copy that i want to upgrade the neck pup only, JB handwound in the bridge. This video with pricepoints helps a lot
I love Suhr the most , im kinda bias ,lol, b/c suhr is one of my dream guitars.
Interesting. It would have been nice to have some true A/B/C comparison, but still helpful. Not that there was zero difference, but it certainly seems to me that the tonal quality was not all that different. it makes quite a statement about how a $300 investment can make a $100 guitar sound pretty solid (of course, whether the playability and other features hold up is a separate matter).
You didn't really include any conclusions. I'm sure you played all 3 more than just the segments to showed here. What was your take on the difference between the guitars sonically?
Somehow that PLAYTECH sounds the best of all 3 to me. Maybe not as comfortable to play as others.
What’s in the neck? Might want to put what’s in each position (neck mid bridge) for viewers
The ML is the bridge? Nice playing
ML only in the neck and middle. The bridge pickup is stock.
Is the absence of the SCCII system noticeable?
My question as well.
And now? what is the difference?
You can't buy skills!
NO difference...strat.😮
I think the difference in sound is not big. However, the playability was completely different :)
