Awesome comparison!! I love both for different reasons. Both quite similar but I’m sure paired with different amps (like matching the right wine with a meal) they’d each find their perfect companion.
That's what I found too, especially with that amp. Did the same comparison with a marshall style amp also and liked the MLs better. All in all I was surprised how similar they are.

The MLs definitely have a more pronounced midrange which works great with crunchy amps like Marshalls. With cleaner amps i tend to like the chime of the V60LPs a bit more.
Great comparison video Joe! I was considering these two models. In your experience, which would you pick for a bridge pickup for clean-ish to lightly overdriven country tones (a la Dwight Yoakam for example)?
Hey! Thx man! For that particular reason I guess I would go for the V60LP, maybe even with a Neck PU in the bridge position. MLs I found to really shine with more gainy sounds.

Nice comparison. I see the Suhr V60LP is brighter, more straty tone and react better to the peal
That's what I found too, especially with that amp. Did the same comparison with a marshall style amp also and liked the MLs better. All in all I was surprised how similar they are.
