Some Australian States have no discretionary speed limits ie exceed the limit and fines are imposed, hence the 1 km advisory.

      Thanks for the info!

I've noticed on the 2025 NX with non-hud gauge that the speed limit sign doesn't turn red even when visual is turned on in settings. We test drove one with hud and the visual colour change worked fine. I'm not sure if this is normal with the non-hud gauge or not. The audible beep works fine though.

I have heard about that feedback for cars without the HUD will not turn red. It could be as designed or a bug.

About the "Excess speed notification", I observe with my European model a behaviour that I can't explain : with the speed limiter engaged (not the cruise control), even with the "visual only" notification selected, the system still produces beeps when the speed exceeds the selected speed limit. This happens, for example, on steep downhill roads, when the speed limiter is engaged but fails to maintain speed. I couldn't find a way to remove these beeps...
About the "Driver break suggestion", it triggers a soft warning in the multi-information display when you have driven continuously since more than about 2,5 hours, suggesting that it is time to take a break (an identical feature from previous NXs and many other models).

Interesting. My version will only show the red sign or beep if it's set. Maybe a bug?

@@lsft I checked this point again and I understood that there is no "bug": the beeps I was referring to are heard when the speed limiter is engaged and the car can't maintain the speed limit because of a too steep road, for example. The system then emits 4 beeps, every 15 seconds or so, regardless of the type of alert selected in the configuration.

@@jean-marcdelbos2206 Interesting. I haven't seen that on my NX. Maybe it is country specific.

@@lsft I guess you need to drive on a steep enough road and engage the speed limiter at that time, to notice this. Or, when driving at a high speed, to engage the speed limiter to a significantly lower speed without applying the breaks - in this case, you should hear the 4 beeps if the car can't slow down close enough to the speed limit within 15-20 secs... Not a very common situation !
Again about steep downhill roads, I noticed that engaging the speed limiter is a way to slightly increase the electrical regenerative breaking without applying the breaks and without triggering the ICE (in EV mode) - at the cost of hearing 4 beeps every 15-20 secs, though, as long as the actual speed exceeds the selected speed limit. If you use the paddles or the manual gear selector in the same situation, in order to increase the engine breaking, the ICE may eventually turn on even in EV mode, which is something that maybe you don't want.

@@jean-marcdelbos2206 not sure if I'll encounter this scenario as where I live we don't have that many steep hills.

    Hi,
    Have a question for you.
I own 2022 Lexus NX350h sports luxury model. For some reason it’s stopped notifying “red light camera approaching” and only gives beep worming. All my settings are set on Audible and visual. I’ve connected my local Lexus Dealership and they said that this model doesn’t have an option to notify about red light camera!
    Any idea what’s going on?

I think the red light camera is coming from your smartphone app and not the Lexus interface. Are you using Waze?

I don’t think so…. But will play around with it to see….

I don't think so, was not allowed in Canada. My triple beams are adaptive.
