The concept of Middle power will isolate super power.. If middle power starts dictating what policiies without inclusion of the powers which create technologies will not work. If the middle powers are on the leading edge of tech they can do that not at this point in time.
"Age of AI" is like Amazon forest, while in 2024 we as human beings have opportunity to explore only few samples of plants that are getting nurtured inside the Nursery i.e. "Digital Realm" or one may say "Cyber-Space". However, It's not just about the development of useful AI and associated IoT smart systems but it's deployments will certainly determine the pace of development of a particular region or Nation. But, before that to safeguard the goodness of humanity so that maximum happiness and prosperity for maximum number of people on this planet Earth, responsibility goes to concerned institutions and officials along with technological professionals to develop detailed regulatory framework and constitution related to AI and Robotics. An interesting talk thank you all. I would suggest, A.I. is just an engine, the principal object of focus should be the vehicle being powered, the direction of travel, potential obstacles & limitations. That is not to say we should be apathetic regards the power unit.
For example, is becoming a multi-planetary species inline with our direction of travel? note:- I believe it is, but would agree, speed & method of reaching this goal is still up for debate.
