Nice report, I have Lancia's with the same passion as you for Alfa's. I have also had 3 147's and a 3.0lT V6 GTV over the years. all are great cars.Cheers Bob
Will rub many wrong way, but this is so much better than the MG B. For starters it has got a properly sorted independent suspension front and rear, and twin cam engine. MG B is easier to drive but it is not as sophisticated or fun to drive as the Spider. Of course the Alfa is (in)famous for rusting and breaking down far too often, but one doubts the MG to be any better in that regard.
I had one as a daily driver for ten years… beautiful design, but Alfa never invested in the mechanicals. It is essentially a facelift of the original from the late 60’s. Not unbearable, but you get better handling and performance from a Mazda Miata. Essentially, you have the marque and the sound, and great style. It is fun to drive, but wobbly and weak.
Alfa Spyder much better car than MGB. It's faster, handle and corners much better. No comparison. My first car was a '70 MGB. British racing green, wire wheels , four speed over drive and three windshield wipers.
Still mine after 33 years. Runs and drives great.

The U.S spec Series IV had an option of a 3-Speed ZF automatic gearbox, 2 airbags and poer steering 🤠
Beautiful beautiful car. Under rated this little beauty
Great car, great review, great video. Great!
Thanks Ben!
Love mine. So much fun

It's all a matter of preference, but we've got a soft spot for both!
Great stuff. That car ticks a lot of the right boxes.
Paul can't bring himself to get rid of his!
It’s got electric Windows! In theory. Ive had to redo the mechanism loads of times on mine.
I have a height of 183 cm, is it comfortable in the cabin? Do your knees not rest on the steering wheel?
Paul is about your height and fitted just fine, but you might need a smaller steering wheel for some knee room!
Comparing an Alfa to a MGB..? It’s like comparing a race car to a tractor.

Lovely video and beautiful car, even if you insulted my 1970 MGB!
Oh, and I have a house and cat.

Tremendous 😃
Might be time to cut back on all the espresso. It's not a race to get all of your words out!
