Dude, fantastic job on this. I just heard Miley's version for the first time yesterday and can't stop listening to it. But this, this is classy. Pays honor to both women, and quite well. Excellent work my man.
I grew up listening to old pop and rock because of my parents, so it's been really cool to see Miley Cyrus do stuff with Joan Jett and Stevie Nicks as well as stuff like this cover. Weird experience considering the last thing I heard from her before this was in 2013
I like both versions for different reasons. I loved Blondie from the first time I saw her on Dicks Rock n New Years. She was one of my all time favorites. Her voice can be soft and gentle or with more pizazz like One Way or the Other. Miley on the other hand made the song her own by not performing it with the gentle tones Blondie uses. It made it more rock than pop or punk and gave an edge to it. So there shouldn't be a comparison because they both sang it differently with different styles...
@jimjimson8263 it where different times then , the song had its time then. People were at different time and mindset then. It's useless to make this comparison. today. But yea she could. @jimjimson8263 dude use your brain, blondie wouldn't be number one in today's world. It would be probably Miley. It isn't even entertaining in today's world the way blondie sings this song. Your comparison is based on your own emotions and memories that's all nothing more nothing less

@@jlambe19 that's definitely one opinion
@@jvaish Add my opinion too! Smiley Miley with her ultra fake teeth cannot compare to Debbie Harry in any way at all no matter how great she thinks (or told) she is 🤣

Excelente comentario
The way they sing a same song so different and it makes it SO UNIQUE
MS is rather rough around the edges where Blondie is class and sings beautifully
The riffs the solos the lyrics the drums. Everything is perfect on this song love it.
Miley does the most amazing cover, but still think that NOTHING can ever top Debbie Harry!
YOUR RIGHT CAN'T TOP DEBBIE SHE HAS IT !
Miley fa schifo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ' m italian .
@@multiodisseo this is not the song for Miley. She shouldn’t try to compete with Debra Harry.
@@paulamarie5808 . You are right !
Blondie = Legend. Miley = cover artist.
0:25/0:29 hits so hard for some reason. Miley's powerful screaming rock singing, more like literally screaming the lyrics, and then Debbie kicks in, singing so calm and tender, yet she sounds at least not less powerful than Miley, and probably even more. Wow.
D'accord absolutement
FAAAANTASIA QUIEN HAYA HEHCHO ESTO muchas gracias al creador me encantaaaaaa!!!!!

i liked Miley Cyrus performance. Great version of this song.
Perfect. I'm addicted to this miley era. Becoming a big fan
Theres just no getting away from the coolness of Blondie, she barely has to try!
Love Miley's version though!!

These 2.ladies are sounding simply awesome. They both bring something special to the duet. They both have a different type of sound and style. They are completely making this collaboration really great. Keep rockin ladies.
I stand with so many others in regards to Blondie (such a Goddess, Beautiful, Sexy , Classy, Cool etc etc) - but to be fair I don't mind this remix/mashup - so thanks Lulu
I liked Miley's version, but Blondie is the true heart of glass!!❤🐇
Good Audio, no simple matter to put this together.
Legendary artists.
I really like this version with both of them singing......it definitely adds something more to this amazing song!!

[Verse 1]
Once I had a love and it was a gas
Soon turned out had a heart of glass
Seemed like the real thing, only to find
Mucho mistrust, love's gone behind
[Verse 2]
Once I had a love and it was divine
Soon found out I was losing my mind
It seemed like the real thing but I was so blind
Mucho mistrust, love's gone behind
[Chorus 1]
In between, what I find is pleasing and I'm feeling fine
Love is so confusing, there's no peace of mind
If I fear I'm losing you, it's just no good
You teasing like you do
[Verse 1]
Once I had a love and it was a gas
Soon turned out had a heart of glass
Seemed like the real thing, only to find

Lost inside, adorable illusion and I cannot hide
I'm the one you're using, please don't push me aside
We could've made it cruising

Riding high on love's true bluish light
[Verse 3]
Once I had a love and it was a gas
Soon turned out to be a pain in the ass

I love Miley's style. Debby is a classic :)
Blondy sounds heavenly.
No comparison to those two performances.
Miley's vocal range is not anywhere near what Blondie's is. It is very apparent on the RIF. Miley simply cannot hit the range of notes that Deborah can.
Miley kicks ass
AAAAAAAARGGGGGHHHHH!!!!! Quien dice que no existe lo perfectoooo??? Es Hermoso, sublime. Gracias por este video
Both are brilliant ❤ Original is brilliant but if you listen to Mylies vocals she is really amazing
Blondie Forever... 🤩🤩🤩🎤🎼🎶🎵
Me encanta❤

Dude, fantastic job on this. I just heard Miley's version for the first time yesterday and can't stop listening to it. But this, this is classy. Pays honor to both women, and quite well. Excellent work my man.
Brilliant, music should bring people/generations together. The world is a shared experience. Embrace it.
Totally agree 👍
Miley Cyrus is NOT brilliant. She reminds me of the crows I heard in my yard this morning.
She belted and screeched out the song and was off-key about 98% of the time
Blondie wins every time.True class outweighs cheap knock offs.
Miley is some of the best vocal girls today!! Debbie is something else!! you cant compare them!! Love them both
Although I like Miley Cyrus a lot, here she can't absolutely compete with Debbie, who is gorgeous.

Imagine if this was in a movie where a singer was switching through time while singing this

ahh that would be so cool!!
Wow! That would be soooo cool
The thought of that, makes me get goosebumps.. In a good way! ✨
Exactly what came to my mind..... it would be a bad assery time warp
Kinda thing.
I grew up listening to old pop and rock because of my parents, so it's been really cool to see Miley Cyrus do stuff with Joan Jett and Stevie Nicks as well as stuff like this cover. Weird experience considering the last thing I heard from her before this was in 2013
Superrrrrr😊❤❤❤❤❤love it❤❤❤❤❤
She sure ass hell could not sing this like Blondie and not many can and Blondie is like 1000 times better looking for damn sure.

The only thing perfect about it is it shows how horrible Cyrus's voice is.

Wow, Debrah harry just can’t be beat! So pretty and such a beautiful voice…1 of a kind and always number ONE..
Do notforget, Blondie was soprano that time, and Miley is alto here. I love them both btw 🥰

She’s introducing at least people who listen to Miley to this amazing era, which no matter how she performed the song, is good thing.
That’s a fair take of Cyrus a washed up cover singer
I'll take Blondie over Miley any day!!!

@jimjimson8263 it where different times then , the song had its time then. People were at different time and mindset then. It's useless to make this comparison. today. But yea she could. But we can't know. So it's useless to assume anything. It would be definitely sound less boring. Blondie wouldn't be number one these days that's for sure
@jimjimson8263 dude use your brain, blondie wouldn't be number one in today's world. It would be probably Miley. It isn't even entertaining in today's world the way blondie sings this song. It are different times. Blondie sounds frail and boring in today's world unless for an old public that relives the old days and emotions true this song when they where younger. Your comparison is based on your own emotions and memories that's all nothing more nothing less
