(In 2007, Sri Chinmoy was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by Archbishop Desmond Tutu and former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev. Sri Chinmoy conducted meditations at the United Nations for about 30 years and at the US Congress for about 20 years.)

this playing of Ranadhir Roy is really extraordinary. But it is not him on the photo and also it is a dilruba on the photo , Ranadhir Roy was playing the big Esraj that he himself has designed. The tabla player is I think Sanjoy Mukherjee. I think also the playing was in Santiniketan.
I love this recording. I had it a while ago and lost it. Very happy to see it on youtube! I support the hypothesis that the tabla player is Sanjoy Mukherjee or somebody from that style of playing. Fantastic!
Mr Hari lal this seems to be a tabla solo recording and the 'mukhra' is NOT by Ranadhir as the photo of the esraj player is of somebody else. I have uploaded his live recording video's so that people can know how he actually looked like.You remove these from you tube.This is someone playing on the sarengi.

Possibly, the tabla player is Debashish Sadhu Khan, whom he used I think throughout his whole career.
