- My brand new Creality Ender 3 Neo has a problem. The auto-homing fails with the print head getting stuck and making a dreadful noise. I've discovered the cause is a mistake in the factory pre-assembly of the x-axis motor/extruder unit. **LATEST UPDATE** After little help from Creality, I decided to fix it myself. You can see how I did it here: • FIXED! Ender 3 Neo fac...

Mine is doing the same thing, have figured it out yet?
Yes. Watch this space. I’ve got a ‘fix’ video coming very soon.
Fix video is now up: ua-cam.com/video/IJ0h2oAH28Q/v-deo.html
Hope you find it helpful.
Hi! I'm having the same problem as you, but in my Ender 3 V3 SE. The printhead goes to the ver right side and crashes with the end of the axis making that noise. I also have problems with the home coordinates because my printer starts too far from the usual home... I've tried to contact creality and they give a sh*t about me... Did you manage to fix it? Did they give you other suggestions or solutions? Thanks for sharing!
Still pursuing with Creality by email, but I think I’ll end up reconstructing the faulty assembly. In your case, is there a micro switch at the end of the run that it should hit?
Gave up with Creality support, and decided to fix it myself: ua-cam.com/video/IJ0h2oAH28Q/v-deo.html
man I've got the same issue with Ender 3 V3 SE. I thought it was a software issue so I've installed the Klipper on it but that didn't help, same problem. I'm really stuck on it. Any updates from you?
@@ImOxy Yes, I managed to rebuild the extruder unit the right way round: ua-cam.com/video/IJ0h2oAH28Q/v-deo.htmlsi=SNq3GtvY5Nvrh4-i. Now works perfectly.
Damn this is some crazy timing on this post
How do you mean?
Fix video now available: ua-cam.com/video/IJ0h2oAH28Q/v-deo.html
Creality finally got back to me offering a replacement, but only after receipt of this one, which I would have to take apart, rebox and return. So I'm glad I avoided the inconvenience - and the wait - by fixing it myself. This wasn't that difficult and you can see how I did it here: ua-cam.com/video/IJ0h2oAH28Q/v-deo.html
Creality customer services have got back to say I can skip the auto-home. Doesn’t seem ideal, but I’ll give it a go.
Stop wasting your time with Creality, and replace those screws by yourself, not a magic.
Anyway it won't work, because all slicer does auto-home in the start of the print (G28 gcode) to get min or max values via endswitch ;)
I kinda want to give them a chance to sort it before going in myself. They have at least engaged by email, although not particularly helpful so far. However, the Twitter team seem to have worked out that there might be good PR in helping find a solution.
As you thought, little help from Creality, so I mended it myself: ua-cam.com/video/IJ0h2oAH28Q/v-deo.html
