It is a good idea to bring these older games to PC today. The average low-end PC today is more powerful than the console these older games were made for.
Remade 75% of the map in RDR2 and then just ported the og instead of remaking mexico.
I was hoping they would make a $60 dlc for rdr2, which brought rdr1 game inside rdr2, so you can play the whole story of rdr2 then go into rdr1 story immediately after you finish the epilogue with john.

It seems like they didn’t mention the 60fps support because that would upset all of those people playing on Xbox consoles. They completely miss that experience despite being able to play the game via backwards compatibility.
The current gen version got 60fps like a month after launch
which is funny because games like AC ezio collection are 60 fps on Xbox but not PS. lol it's so weird
Tbh it should have been released on PC back in like 2010 or so; but tbh maybe that's a good thing? Remember most triple A PC ports had Games for Windows Live and it was pretty much the reason why GTA 4 on PC was so busted for the longest time. I still think it's too long overdue but if they do release it at least there would be no GFWL.

Honestly im not at all expecting it to be remotely improved compared to the original game, fully expecting it to be the same port with no improvements BUT for me the game has potential elsewhere simply down to the fact it will finally be on PC, we can not only finally play RD1 on pc for the first time ever but the modding potential is there as well so im exited for it but im not gonna be stupid enough to pay full price.
Well I just hope they fix the headless zombie glitch that plagues Undead Nightmare

It’s crazy and frustrating that they don’t include the online multiplayer modes, so you aren’t even getting the full original game.

Reminder - you can already play RDR at 60FPS on PC via RPCS3 emulator ;)
It was a missed opportunity for R* to remake RDR1. They already remade most of the original map. It looked like they were going to for a while, but I guess not.

And they are of course absolutely tweaked for as much money as they can get but why tf they didnt make Undead Nightmare 2 is sooo regarded dude. Bro Undead Nightmare 2 was their april fools joke this year thats how little they think of the RDR fans. Its brutal.

When did that joke happen, also Red Dead fans have it bad (I am one) but we’re still better off than Midnight Club fans (series is def dead), Manhunt fans (also def dead), and definitely Bully fans (apparently Bully 2 has been cancelled 3 times safe to say it’s cooked)

And I agree about the older franchises all I can say is maybe since they’re so old and because GTA has midnight club mixed in now basically, you can play gta online as a racer entirely and have a decent experience (I wouldn’t because that’s insane). Not giving excuses just trying to think of reasons. But I agree, they should still make Bully 2. It’s kinda like a SouthPark style game but better. Kiiiinda.
@@johnmarston3232 so I’ve seen the post now, it seems like it was just faked by a user on Reddit, as for midnight club I heard a big part of it is something happened between rockstar and the team and rockstar shut them down as a a result and basically ended the series, so I think they’re definitely merging it more into gta to make up for that plus they don’t have to play licenses and yea we def need Bully 2

Do gamers consider the graphical fidelity the only thing that's worth considering when a game ages good or bad?
How so? I played it a few years ago from start to end on the Xbox One and the only thing that was "aged" was the graphics. Otherwise, gameplay was still solid as modern open-world gameplay hasn't changed much.
I don’t know why everyone is so excited to play a 14 yo game. This is why gaming is on a decline. You guys accept anything. There is nothing but remasters and damn remakes. GAMES THAT WERE ALREADY MADE AND PLAYED! This is why the PS5 is not getting proper next gen games. Because you sheep are excited about dumb business practices like ports, remasters and remakes. 🤦🏽♂️
