So when you put the deck into the dash and plug up the wiring harness up mine doesn’t power on when the truck is in accessory mode. Is there something I didn’t do? I also have a 2012 dodge ram 1500 so it should be the same I’d think.
hey man, I have a question, so I just got a Boss radio and I drive a 2009 dodge ram 1500, I cut out the sub dash so it fits in the hole just fine, but my bezel or dash trim with the ac controls, wont fit over the radio. the radio is just slightly to tall for the hole, would I have to trim my dash trim (bezel) in order for it to fit?

Apple is better for connecting to other devices and stabilty. Android is unstable but is much more customizable. If you want freedom choose android. If you want your divice to connect to everything choose apple :) iphone 6 for apple, android g3 or m8

The ram uses a canbus module so you either have to run a switched accessory wire or the best way to do it is get a pac module like a chy4 this will allow for you to adapt to the vehicle computer

You might have a blown fuse, usually thats the red wire not being powered

get the CH1 harness and the Maestro RR, youll have all of youre steering wheel functions.

i used a pac module c2r chy4. thats the one you should use for your truck as well. it is not the steering wheel control module version

Brandon Steele glad to help the tr7 is a great patking brake bypass but you also need the other module i show in the video

Local shop the pac tr7 is pretty easy to get ahold of might have to order online
Why spend money on the parking brake bypass just ground it to the back of the stereo
Alpines and pioneers need a sequence so you need the relay, kenwoods and JVC and what not can just be grounded
