I've said it before but if the major UK TV Channels don't invest in even a limited trial series featuring you they will be missing out. Your delivery and easy manner make these recipes far easier to follow than pretty much all of the top chefs currently on TV.
Made this yesterday. Used belly pork. No Cream in fridge used Creme Fraiche. Partially cooked Pork Belly. Added all ingredients to slow cooker. When cooked poured on Creme Fraiche. Fabulous.
It's a great recipe without a doubt, I'm a retired chef and the only thing I do a little different is to cook out the tomato paste with the onions before adding the liquid. Doesn't make much difference with a long slow cook but it's just what I was taught to do. Just found your channel, another subscriber to your well deserved list.
Excellent video. Thanks for this recipe. Once I had the ingredients ready, it was very easy to fix and the clean up was minimal. I used bone-in chops and added potato wedges (at my husband’s request). I will use this version for all pork chops in the future.
Thanks for the recipe. We had it for dinner yesterday and it was a hit with everyone. I wonder if a bit of mustard or maybe some kind of booze would be nice slow cooked in with the sauce.
I made this with pork belly slices which were reduced in aldi and it was fantastic I have to agree it's only a matter of time before you have your own tv series
Got this going now in the slow cooker; added a packet of Maggi JägerSchnitzel seasoning and used dried forest mushrooms instead of fresh, but otherwise followed recipe
Don't get me wrong here, I love your videos, but seriously... who needs a slow cooker to knock out a pork neck steak in a mushroom sauce? It would take 15 minutes tops doing it from start to finish in a pan. A lot less time than it'll take to peel, cook, mash and season the potatoes.
Elderly people that have poor teeth will really appreciate the slow crockpot cooking. Pork steaks fried in a skillet tend to be on the tough side. I know my 80 year old father has a very difficult time chewing unless the meat is very tender. Yeah, I know, he should get some implants. I've tried, he ain't having it. He'd rather eat soup.
So the disabled, elderly and unprivileged all have slow cookers and six hours spare to prep and cook a steak in mushroom sauce as opposed to 15 minutes to pan fry one? Got ye, Laura.@@LauraBidingCitizen
@@viktorburakov2646 Evidently you’re too able bodied and privileged to understanding that ‘just’ 15 minutes of standing can equate to days, if not weeks of pain for some individuals (& ‘your’ 15 minutes is someone else’s 30-40-50+ minutes), & yes, we do have the time to put everything into a slow cooker, like everyone else does. Not really difficult to put everything into a slow cooker, is it? Perhaps it is for you with your ableist comments, but it isn’t for those of us who have to choose our time wisely. Perhaps engage your brain before speaking next time.

She doesn’t need tv, UA-cam is watched more than tv, Nikki is great I agree with that 😊 my kids thank her too.

Nicky - once again you’ve smashed it outta the ballpark! Excited to try this one!
Got this in my slow cooker now , a few beers down the pub then home at 16:00 for Sunday lunch
What a delicious recipe! Love slow cooker meals for busy days 😊
That gravy over white rice or wide egg noodles would be another way of serving it.
Always great recipes. Short to the point but yet all details are covered. Fantastic.
Love that recipe…..❤
So lovely to find a recipe for pork that's not bbq or spicy AND slowcooker, Thank you! Im making it now, cant wait to try it tonight.

Thanks for the recipe. We had it for dinner yesterday and it was a hit with everyone. I wonder if a bit of mustard or maybe some kind of booze would be nice slow cooked in with the sauce.

That's what I'm doing this weekend. Yay!
Imade a mistake here. When my meat thawed out it was not pork chops it was thick slices of belly pork. I did it anyway and it was delicious. Thank you.
Thank you Nikki, a great recipe as usual. I’ll be trying this one. Thank you.

Nothing to do with the recipe but would you recommend your model of the slow cooker?
I bet this would be nice using cider.
Made this last night. Gorgeous
Got this going now in the slow cooker; added a packet of Maggi JägerSchnitzel seasoning and used dried forest mushrooms instead of fresh, but otherwise followed recipe
Going to do this recipe, looks yummy ❤️
Thank you. Will be trying this later.
Agree with norvegi! Tv missing out if they don’t have you on telly!! You’re a natural Nicky! ❤
Is there an alternative to the slow cooker part?
Just go ahead and fry them up in the pan and then make a pan sauce.
Oof. Gonna make these. Thank u ! 🎉🥩🥩🥩
Can you use lamb forequarter chops for this instead of pork?
Nicki another great video, would I be able to do a pork tenderloin that way too?
Looks delicious. If I just used two chops, should I halve all the ingredients? I only have a small slow cooker. 😀
Yes.
Def trying this😃
Ok Nikki , made this tonight and to be honest thought it a little bland. Love your stuff nonetheless. Your beef goulash remains your masterpiece 👍
Could I use Greek yogurt instead of cream? ❤
An alternative to using cream?
Just leave it out, I do. Then you have a slightly less fattening supper 😊
@@milkshake3350 Thank you
Yum!!!!
Hi Nicky could I make this with lamb chops or cutlets as I’m allergic to pork? Thanks
Delish 😍
Waoo very tasty❤❤❤❤
missing the most important bit in the video... biting into it :/
goddamn this looks so good but i dont have a slow cooker

I don't think it's the time factor.

Disabled people, like myself. The elderly. People not privileged and able bodied like yourself..

Omg delicious 8)
When you find out your favourite UA-cam chef feeds her family Brussels sprouts🤮🤮🤮
Another excellent recipe I was wondering if you could cook liver and onions in a instant pot on slow cook
