I had one of those days recently...until I made a discovery on Family Search about my late grandfather that opened up a whole world of exploration! I was very close to my grandfather up until he breathed his last breathe, but this experience allowed me to make new discoveries about him, as Palestinian trying to navigate America and build a life for his family.

Thank you--I feel lucky that my grandfather lived to be in his 70s, when so many babies are being killed in Gaza. I think of those children and families every day and thank you for praying for them!

My great grandfather came to New York in the 1920s from Palestine. He stayed for 10 years and went back. He didn't like it here lol. I would like to find more about him 😊 then my grandfather came in the late 1940s!

I am so sorry for losing anyone in our life. 😢 My father came to America when I was a year and a half old. He passed away after a few years before we could be with him. Life is so sad to me. 😭💔

Your grandfather went to Jordan from where?! You never mentioned his whole journey, where he came from and why he went to Jordan?
