Jeff, Imagine me overlooking The Gods 'Towards the Skies'? Somehow they slipped through the cracks in the musical appreciation side of my journey. Ages ago I remember hearing two songs on the radio and I've never seen their album in stores despite decades of bin digs. For me this is a must-have great album I'll be adding soon thanks to you! It's got what I like in organ, mellotron, great vocal harmonies etc. I also hear echoes of Deep Purples' 'Anthem' and Uriah Heep's vocal style (at times) along with The Beatles no less. What a beautiful colored vinyl splatter design too. I hope a stereo version is reissued as well, but as with many mono recordings the vocals and other nuances are better heard. Great cover art too. I almost sprung for a Hipgnosis cover art book years ago but chose other reference guides over it due to the unreasonably high asking price. I don't recall seeing The Gods LP cover art featured in it either so I'm surprised to hear from you it's indeed Hipgnosis art. Cheers!
Congrats Jeff, think my own 10th anniversary is coming up around spring. You are probably in my first dozen subscriptions or so. A few of us from that class of 2015 are still around but many disappeared long ago, sure wish Raul aka Fishman would have stuck with it longer. There was quite a nice guy from Montreal too who was on here at that time but stopped making videos very early on. Gotta pull out The Epic again, got it on CD only. Cheers and take care ~

Ten years already? It seem like I have been watching you for three years, probably because today is my third anniversary in the VC 🙂 Lovely records, most of which I do not own.
Weird, this video just came up on my feed 4 days late. That's happening a lot lately. UA-cam bugaboos. 10 years huh, my how time fly's when your having fun. For me it was New Years morning in 2010 joining youtube and putting up my first video. I had been watching for a while but was reluctant to post videos because of my camera and mic being real Mickey Mouse. I had a 50 dollar Microsoft combination camera and mic I bought at Christmas and when I figured out how to use it I jumped on youtube and did my first 45 video of it spinning on my TT. I'm glad I got to meet you through the couple of VC meetups we've been too Jeff. Good people are hard to come by these days. Cheers.
A good way to utilize an otherwise quiet New Years Day. I remember all your old TT spins and thinking... gee, I'll bet this guy's been in James Brown's limo! Thanks for the kind words, brother. Mutual!!
