The TCMT lowers are sufficient for the task. They will wear out more quickly than OEM but you could buy a new set every year for six years and still be ahead from having bought OEM lowers. 90% of the utility of the OEM lowers for 15% of the price
That’s a great price, I recommend using some dynamat strips strategically placed inside the speaker surrounds when you install the speakers. Make sure to stick some on those metal mounting brackets.
When I had my 2017 Road King I went third party lowers myself, such an incredible deal and they were even color matched perfectly that the dealer service department did not initially notice they were not Harley lowers
Yea warmer riding but also less road fatigue due to the wind break on your legs.. That's the good thing about Vivid Black, most aftermarket add-on can come already painted to match. Here is a tip for all, if you don't like or want the lowers to rattle on bumps or high throttle or loud speaker events, line or cover all mating surfaces with tape ( black electrical, duct or gorilla tape) because they will rattle without it.
I bought one a year ago for my 2021 RK. It works fine. I just can't spend $800 for OEM. Also bought screen panels for summer time, and use solid panes for winter.
We do not know if it costs after one year? We definitively don't know if it'll keep working after one year without pay subscription? I don't care about shops having to do updates I want it to work on my bike to be able to bleed the brakes I've already bought it so I don't have Wi-Fi so I got to get that figured out but I'm trying to figure out if it's going to work after 1 year.
It was implied it would still work but not get updated if you didn’t have a subscription. I think updates would be valuable if you are a shop working on newer bikes all the time. If don’t have wif just charge it then take it somewhere with free WiFi to register it and do the updates. You don’t need WiFi to use it after you have updated it.
They make a short version of the breather or filter i think, my buddy had to change breathers to put lowers on his Street Glide with speaker pods and his lowers were a different brand so I think you will have that issue no matter what lowers you get...
TCMT has a large selection of parts, helmets and more on their website - bit.ly/3M4Py70

At that price, they cannot be beat. Glad yo see you still enjoying your bike after 5 years.
I got speakers installed this weekend and the installer does thousands of these he said they look just like any other manufactures

You have very beautiful bikes seeing them up close really shows the work ..... the price is very fair price

Yeah Sinister Sound said they looked as good as any other brands they have installed speakers in.
Lol for a moment there I was like why the F is he pissing on his bike😂
Can't beat that price brother👊🏽😎

Sounds like we are in the same boat, mine work fine a fraction of the cost
Wow for that price that’s a steal!!!! Nice install and review Mike
Thanks!
I bet those are going to sound awesome once you get some quality speakers in there.
Wish I would of found your Channel a long time ago.

I was looking at just getting speakers that mount to my crash bar this gives me another option...
Going to. 6.5 in speaker makes a huge difference in mid range. Do you have place for an amp?
@@RidingintheOzarks I already have a amp and upgraded Rockfords in the fairing but the amp has space for four more speakers..
Oh this would be much better than any crashbar speakers I have worked with.
nice
Welp, confirmed these won’t work on TC with SE heavy breather 🤦♂️

Did you order them using my discount code and link by chance?
@@RidingintheOzarks no I missed that
Or probably more so I forgot about it by the time I got around to ordering
