Ho cats are the most amazing and wonderful and angelic and beautiful being in the world. But it takes time for them to trust us humans and for good reasons, so if a family doesn’t have enough heart and love in their hearts , then better some who does have infinite love , heart and soul band spirit, affection, empathy and patience will adopt them. I am hoping one day to help much more to give all the cats in the world the best life and love. And this kitty is absolutely gorgeous and deserved to be loved forever

all 4 of my current rescue cats were trauma cases. And all were very shy. I took them because I knew noone else would. The boys are still a bit of a handful 5 years later. The two sisters are still slightly shy 4 years later but very sweet. One has formed a strong bond with my newest rescue dog. Slow and steady wins the race with former ferals or shy trauma riddled cats. It's so worth it to watch them blossom🦋 and realise they are loved.

Same! But when you go to the shelter and there's 10 shy kitties and your landlord only let's you have one? We can't save them all. Sadly! So we just need to create more people like us. I have 9 right now 🙈 not including the outside ones i feed 😬
Thanks for giving this kitty a chance for a forever loving home. It may have taken longer than you would have liked for you to gain her trust but you did. I like believe it wasn't just your patience and your love but the fact that your other kitty stayed with her and cuddled with her and showed her that you are a trustworthy person.
We have a cat that had a rough start before he came to live with us. You could tell he wanted love and attention, but he asked for it by attacking. It took a lot of time, patience, and scratches. But we never yelled at him, we just didn't reward his aggression. Slowly he realised that we would pet him if he didn't hit us. The first time he showed me his belly and let me stroke it, he started purring and I just teared up. Now he flops on his back and starts purring when he wants a cuddle. We're so proud of him for learning to trust humans again, and we love him so much.

Some cats take months to come around. People with kids want a kitten, or outgoing cat the kids can play with as soon as it comes home. I think patent should be teaching their kids that love isn't expected when you first meet, its earned with time and patience.
I grew up when you had one cat and/or one dog. I was born into a large family where one cat was the norm. The first thing I did when I married was get a cat and a dog. Eventually, at the max, I had six cats and a dog. At least two cats and one dog became the norm. My daughter came to live with me when she became unwell, we became a two dog and multiple cat family. Now we are considering adopting cats with special needs. Animals bring me my greatest joy❤
As long as they get along. I have two cutie pies who are polar opposites and have only learned to tolerate each other. They're both female, and they are 5 years apart.

Patience is truly a virtue. I took in a pregnant stray. An offspring was skittish, when I went into a room he would hide. FIVE yrs later I finally got to pet him. Now, when I go into a room he jumps up & comes to me. We play and he follows me, sits on my lap. A true lovey dovey sweetheart, brings joy and to each of us.
Those 2 are so gorgeous and healthy looking. I’m so happy she’s finally come out of her shell. It’s because she has very loving and patient people in her life now. Excellent!
