Another one of Missy Elliott's ferociously hot productions! The beat was on point, but it's a shame it did not pick up enough momentum for its summer 2010 release. I remember how underrated it was becoming and Jazmine was just fresh off her debut album's critical praising success. What a pity! This could've been easily a chart-topper had it not been for illegal mp3 pirating (which was heavy at the time) alongside the then-new generic pop sound that was overriding radio formats.
It wasnt on the Hot 100 but on the billboard hip-hop/R&B charts its was #3 at its peak.

the drum sample is one of the most popular loops in all of hip hop. toom any artists today do way too much in their music because of a lack of pure talent, or song writing ability and soul. this song is dope because of it's simplicity musically, but depth in performance

Can't get over this girl...her voice is so expressive and unique, and it's only after a few spins you notice her incredible accuracy - I mean you're not supposed to be able to do both like that!!! Only Lauryn Hill could pull that combo off until Jazmine came along, and I can only hope and pray that this one never stops singing!
