I have this. Was told by an orthopedic last year. But it's much worse than mild symptoms. There are days when I can barely move because it hurts so much.
Wonderful video, but your dx is deceiving. It does NOT solely have to do with aging of the spine. I have advanced rheumatoid arthritis, as does my daughter who is only 27 years of age, and we both are dealing with spondylosis. I am 48 years old and my x-rays show the spine of a woman who is typically elderly. I am not an athlete, I have simply been dealing with an aggressive form of RA for 10 years. My daughter is a young woman and has had to get cortisone injections because she was unable to walk. Just as we do not like the word "arthritis" being in RA, preferring Rheumatoid Autoimmune Disease, saying that spondylosis ONLY is a disease of aging is very, very deceiving. It makes people like my daughter and I say "what happened to us?"
It is possible spine to age in early on. + 27 is not that young anymore. Your body's aging process starts in 25 when your cells don't renew that fastly anymore

Hi Mike, physicians at Texas Back Institute work with several large spine related organizations to further the research and treatment types for spine diseases. Here's a little more info about our history and philosophy. texasback.com/about-us/
I highly recommend physical therapy for this. It helps to strengthen the muscles in the glutes and back. It’s already helped my sleep so much. Forget meds and injections. I never had any of that and honestly I don’t want it. Good luck everyone.
Thanks - I'm going to start PT soon. I have vowed to myself that I will never, ever have any kind of spine surgery - I've noticed that with others, it hardly ever ends well.
Hi Gayle, each patient is different, but the physicians at Texas Back Institute can and do help patients find a custom treatment plan that is right for their condition and lifestyle. Feel free to contact us at info@texasback.com for more info or to schedule an appointment.

So what is the treatment for this? If there is also stenosis, and a orthopedist recomends surgery (laminectomy) how will the surgery improve your overall spinal pathology if there is also spondolosis, arthritis, herniations etc.
Use a tens unit. I am wearing mine righjt now and it is the only reason I can type this message, or even sit here. My pain is crazy bad. The tens unit works.
I have spondilolisthesis and become bed ridden for weeks at some occasions. Can it be reversed by taking some precautions or nutritive food? I am so scared. Please advise.

I've had hip replacement which was a g-d send, low back L4-5 (disc protrusion) authoscopic surgery worked like a charm no pain immediately after both were in my 50's. So pretty much OA wear and tear now my cervical spine is a mess and not a easy fix as the others......yep even hip replacement after a month or 2 of recovery is highly recommended I often forget is titanium and plastic.

Absolute complete lies spoken from someone who hasn't lived with what she's speaking on and is only going off what her books say. I'm sick and tired of drs downplaying and minimizing brutal pain just because their book says it doesn't really hurt. I have spondylosis, as well as many many other issues with my back and the pain is absolutely debilitating. I'm crippled at 41 but they say it's "normal" aging of the body smh. I have been dealing with this since I was 25 yrs old. I haven't worked any job that was hard on my back. Something is wrong with me but since I have crap insurance drs don't care and blow me off. "Just a lil pain that can be managed with some Tylenol????" Yeah right 🤣🤣🤣 I only wish. Narcotics don't even touch the pain and Tylenol are no better than eating a skittle. I wish drs would take our lives and the quality of it more serious. I know for them it doesn't really matter because they don't live with it nor do they see what our lives look like. I'm miserable, I've given everything up because I just can't physically do it. I want to so bad and it's all I think about but I'm stuck at home disabled and drs don't seem to care so yeah it's really hard for me to hear this woman sit here and pretend like she knows or understands what this feels like. I'm really sorry to anyone else living this nightmare and you're definitely in my prayers.

Maybe it’s literally the bone touching the bone. But then how come sometimes it’s not as bad? Why is it bad 24 hours after I work out? But within that 24 hours it’s fine? And then after a few days it gets better again? But never 100

Non-surgical treatments for spondylosis include epidural injections, chiropractic care, pain management medications and physical therapy. If the pain continues or there is evidence of a severely compressed nerve, surgery may be considered. Surgery for spondylosis involves two main components: eliminating what is causing pain and then fusing the spine to control movement. Surgery may also include decompression, which means removing the tissue that is pressing on nerves. Spondylosis and disc degeneration causing functionally disabling pain that fails to improve with conservative treatment may be treated with fusion or disc replacement surgery. Every case is different It is therefore very important to discuss treatment options with a spine specialist familiar with all types of spinal surgery in deciding which treatment, if any, may be best for you. You can find more information about this topic at: texasback.com/conditions/spondylosis/
kurt mccarthy exactly it’s crazy how they are controlling even our own bodies I also have a degenerative disk on my lower back because of this vivid I finally got some meds but he said it’s just because of the hospitals closing. But yes they want to fuse and not help with anything else but screws I also saw there is a way with a cell regeneration method to inject the disk and bring the disk back. But they won’t do it.. only rods so now I’m looking into our own power to heal ourselves with shifting dimensions with the mind because we can heal our selves if we can tap into high vibrations

I want to know more about this spondylosis
It is possible spine to age in early on. + 27 is not that young anymore. Your body's aging process starts in 25 when your cells don't renew that fastly anymore
If you got RA you should check out Mikhaila Peterson video. Her way of healing is not fun but it was the only way she got better.

I highly recommend physical therapy for this. It helps to strengthen the muscles in the glutes and back. It’s already helped my sleep so much. Forget meds and injections. I never had any of that and honestly I don’t want it. Good luck everyone.
Thank you christine, can u please tell me more about physical therapy and whether u have this problem and how u treated it. Greetings from India

I’ve had this condition since 2015/16 I am almost 30 year old now there is no way this is a normal thing I’ve done it all steroids massage therapy cryotherapy chiropractic therapy rehabilitation therapy all you can think of I’ve done I’ve wasted over near 100k n more on paying for these things and no changes have been for the better I now I have severe pain in my arms I suffer from tremors here and there on my arms I can’t keep my arm out or put any pressure on it for a period of time without having it start to shake I have 7 herniated disk and degenerative disk disease this is not a normal condition
So what is the treatment for this? If there is also stenosis, and a orthopedist recomends surgery (laminectomy) how will the surgery improve your overall spinal pathology if there is also spondolosis, arthritis, herniations etc.
My neurosurgeon and orthopedic surgeon won't touch me even with all the symptoms you mention.
You are rolling the dice with surgery, may or may not help, and once done, there is NO GOING BACK ,MAY MAKE IT REALLY BAD,GOOD LUCK

It's gaslighting! They don't want to help us when we can barely move
I'm 40 and at 35 I could barely walk for 4 months

I have this pain through my right rib cage that feels something is pushing outwards . Pain all day everyday despite the awful meds. Sleep is hard. I’m waffling on, apologies 😅
Hi mam .mam i have a question, mam does cervical spondylosis causes brain stroke or any other serious condition?
From what I have read on this topic. a stroke is highly unlikely from spondylosis.

Oh my god that would make sense to the issue in my neck I have had for five years. That’s why it feels weird when I look up, like something gets stuck. Maybe it’s literally the bone touching the bone. But then how come sometimes it’s not as bad? Why is it bad 24 hours after I work out? But within that 24 hours it’s fine? And then after a few days it gets better again? But never 100

So what kinda surgery helps? Im only 34 and suffering from this pain 2 years already. MRI shows spondelosys on S1L5 with annular tear
