Thanks so much. I watched this yesterday, before my Inspire 3 arrived, and it helped me. I have a question though. I tried a couple new clock faces and can't get the original one back; which I really want to do. If you know how, I'd appreciate it. I even did a factory reset, and that didn't help.

You’re welcome. You can create a single custom zone, but you cannot modify the default heart rate zones.

how do you keep heart rate on display?
I like how you explain/demo! But I have a question... I assume if we turn Sleep Mode on it forces sleep tracking vs auto sensing sleep. Is that right? I had to turn sleep mode manually on/off on my older Fitbit One...
I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure “sleep mode” is just a quicker way to set three related settings at once. I think the auto sleep recognition works the same whether sleep mode is enabled or not. Turning sleep mode on does not automatically start a manual sleep tracking log.
How do you get your steps to reset after each day?
I don't have a cell phone, can this also be set up with a laptop?
if you get premium and opt out after the 6 months but you buy another fit bit later do you get another 6 months of premium?
On my phone it says nearby permission required to pair and then nothing happens and I can't get any further how can I get past that and get my fitbit paired

Yes, but the maximum is 15 seconds.

From the clock face, swipe down from the top of the screen until you find “Settings”, then tap on Settings, tap on Display Settings, swipe up from the bottom until you see “Screen Time Out” then tap on that, then swipe up to tap on “got it”, tap on screen time out again, and then swipe up to tap got it and then it should say Long (other options are default and medium).
Under cleaning you mentioned what you use and I could not hear that, so please advise what you use for cleaning?

Does it have an auto pause feature when running or walking?
There is an auto-pause feature for running, but not for walking.

My fit bit app never asked to search for my device. How do I go back to setup connection without deleting the app and starting over?
Go to the app, go to the Home page, hit your profile on the top left, then hit “add a device” and then pick your watch and go through what it says.

What a huge disappointment. I bought this for my 12 year old (Ace was not suitable). We use Google Family. This device cannot be used with google family so the Fitbit is completely useless. Fitbit support says 12 year olds can only use the Ace but it's totally not suitable for a high school student doing swim training. Besides which she will be 13 in 6 months. There are dozens of angry parents on-line and no solution. This is a result of Google buying Fitbit. I could not be more annoyed with Fitbit right now.

Yes I did. I purchased it from JB HiFi and they were very good about it. I purchased a Ryze instead (half the price) and it is going well so far. @@joygoulet5132

One of the reasons I chose this model as an upgrade was the said battery life. Will see how it goes as the device gets older. I didn’t use to wear the old Alta HR every day but the battery was getting done. I found it annoying to be charging it more than once a week - and the time it took to do so. 🥱 This new Inspire 3 is a huge step forward and so far I am really enjoying it. 😀
I probably didn’t expect to get 5 years out of the Alta HR and it was still working when I removed it from the app. The screen was cracked from impact damage by the end of its duration of use but the hardware itself seemed to stand the test of time. I read that the life expectancy is 1 to 2 years. 🫨
