i mean i can still remember that interview they did back in 2019 when promoting endgame when they were asked, 'if you ever came back to marvel, what is the story you guys would wanna tell,' & their answer was 'secret wars.'
Armin is just salty about it for some reason. Who knows why. Maybe he's made because the MCU has been so bad without them, and he keeps trying to shill for them but finally Feige begged them to come back.
@@iXAN64 it kinda seems like they wanted to come back for this though, especially given the interview i cited from years ago. i think marvel has just gone through a lot of changes the past few years (covid, strikes, chapek vs. iger etc) & are finally getting their footing back.
I remember--I think it was more of a tease. It was a response to viewer question and they were playing around. I mean, I think they at least thought of it back then, but no, they weren't serious or planning on it.
@@JeseLuvv61 they left but they never said they weren't returning. They said they wanted to do secret wars and a wolverine solo film which I would watch day one
The Russo Bros are at least consistent with their work at Marvel. I'm expecting them to deliver two more hits with Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars. They are probably out for good after Secret Wars.
The Russos said right after Endgame that the one thing that would bring them back was if Marvel produced Secret Wars. I don't know where the rest of this came from, but they unofficially established this years ago.
The part everyone including Armin leaves out is that Feige wanted his flunkies to write Secret Wars, but after the fail of Quantum Mania, and the bad reviews, plus RDJ making it clear he would only come back for the Russo's - he had to give in. Armin doesn't like that. Don't know why, but his comments are salty and tude ridden.
I really wanna see Doomsday end with the MCU universe being destroyed and a handful of characters are rescued/placed in other universes as refugees, and to eventually form the multiverse Avengers. Ending Doomsday with Tom being placed in the TASM universe. There is your meet in the middle for street level and multiverse Spider-Man 4. A street level Spider-Man movie taking place in the TASM universe in between Doomsday and Secret Wars with Garfield and Holland teaming up. You can even have Holland go live with the only remaining Aunt May in fiction and reality in Sally Fields. And have Holland doubt his desire to be Spider-Man after Infinity War, No Way Home and Doomsday, only to take up the mantle again by the end of the movie and help Garfield.
I like the Russo Brothers has done an Incredible job the Avengers franchises since Infinity War and Endgame. - It’s sad to see how the Russo Brothers did make original movies but they bomb 💣 at lot of there Box Office.
Don't feel sorry for them - they wrote Extraction and produced Everything Everywhere All At Once which won the Oscar for best picture. I suppose that thing they did with Tom Holland as a war vet was a stinker, but didn't see it, so....
I don't think they're safe. I think they're perfect. They only directed a pair of movies that made Marvel almost $3B in the span of a year AND successfully tied together 22 movies. That's all. If anyone else has ever come to close to meeting those kind of expectations, just let me know....
He didn't defy anything, and this is explained in the film - and has been formally affirmed by the Russos. But the internet has hard of hearing and slow of learning problems - which is why you are still confused.

Now some people, not you i'm sure. Are really slow. They don't hear what is said. They only hear what they want to hear. It's quite amazing in terms of how human psychology works. So let me clarify what they said for the slow of learning. Steve Rogers traveled to an alternate universe in the multiverse. He lived his life there. That has nothing to do with any of the events in *this* universe. After living his life - he *time travels back to THIS REALITY* where he gives the shield to Sam. He did not...repeat....did *not* hang around hiding in this reality, from the husband of married Peggy. Thats...just...a dumb interpretation of the film for people who are slow of learning. Those folks are learning disabled. They never understand anything no matter how you explain it. In contrast there are *quick of learning* film views. These folks *never needed an explanation* because they pay attention to the film. For example: They plainly see that the shield was destroyed in this time line. Steve then time traveled without the shield, but he returns with *A NEW SHIELD.* That's all the smart viewer needs to see- in order to get the meaning of the film. Different strokes....
Sir you are clearly mistaken about the Russo Brothers....when they were promoting the movie endgame they said they were done and moving on to do other projects and that they wouldn't be coming back unless it was to do secret wars...well, guess what?.... They're back and looky here they're doing secret wars....who would have ever imagined that ?🫤

They literally said in an interview when End Game was released that they would come back if they could do Secret Wars.
That and a wolverine solo

Didn’t they say after Endgame that they’d only return specifically for Secret Wars? Makes sense
Imagine the Russos directing The Kang Dynasty instead of Doomsday. We could have an Infinity War quality banger no matter what.
No. This is the opposite of what is true, based on the latest statement from the Russo brothers. Here it is, read and weep....
the Russo bros stated reatedly, they would totally come back for secret wars

Give the Russo Brothers more characters to bring to the MCU, would like to see a Daredevil, Punisher, Hulk Vs Wolverine.
