The MaxFli Tour and Tour X balls are just as good as any of these for 2/3 the price.
It will be interesting for sure to see if there’s a lot of take up of this ball compared to the standard premium offerings out there.
Surprised Bridgestone doesn't get more love considering they've partnered with Tiger for so long. The Bridgestone Tour B X really is the best ball all-around IMO
It’s been a surprise for sure given Tiger’s success more pros haven’t tried using this ball. Maybe the money from Titleist is just too good?
I usually play Pro V1 because it's lower spin with driver and because I don't need extra spin into greens. However, I had a personal longest drive on a particular hole today with a Pro V1X so I have no idea what's going on lol.
I’ve switched from Pro V’s to Wilson Staff Model, and I’ll never go back. They’re longer off the tee, with better spin around the greens. Phenomenal, yet very overlooked golf ball, in my opinion.
Interesting. What’s the price differential? And how long ago did you switch?
@@GolfingFocus Identical price as Pro V. About a year now….
@@jamiesloan7259thanks for sharing. And what was it about the Pro V’s performance that you thought it needed a switch away from?
@@GolfingFocus A buddy of mine gave me a sleeve of the Staff Models to try, or I would have never switched, to be honest. As soon as I saw the distance difference, and watched one 2 hop, and stop, on a long chip, I was sold. My only complaint about the ball is the clicky sound.
With no contract, 95 out of 100 would use pro v
Interesting. You don’t think the Titleist sponsorship with them being the biggest means they’re played more than they otherwise would be?
