Hello Gabriel Nice video. From what I read about Cyprus, it seems that it is now considered a country. Known as the Republic of Cyprus, it is an independent island country. That is what I came across. Please do some more research. Maybe you can still add it as a country to your list
I use the UN list of countries. The only country in the world that recognizes Northern Cyprus is Turkey, so it isn't an official country at this point: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Member_states_of_the_United_Nations
Thanks Gabriel. I love Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. I have been there many times and I had good times. Turkish Cypriots were really nice people. Thanks for the video 👏
There is only the occupied part of the island. There is no Turkish republic of Northern Cyprus. Stop using please illegal terms when you write something. Please be careful
It's the Turkish Cypriot side the side that legally co owns the Republic of Cyprus. The same Turkish Cypriots the Greek Cypriots tried to violently ethnically cleanse whilst trying to illegally unite with Greece. They failed and they've been crying ever since!!
What an amazing video Gabriel, you have already shown me places I didn't even know existed and I live here, beautiful. However the food was very expensive for the North, but the music more than made up for it. If your still here, message me, lots more to see.
It's not disputed, it is illegally occupied territory, as per UN Resolution 541. It would be like visiting the "disputed country" of Luhansk, or Crimea, except it's worse, because northern Cyprus was ethnically cleansed of its MAJORITY Greek Cypriot population, their property seized and occupied for nearly 50 years.
Funny how greeks always omit the actual ethnic cleansing attempt on turkish cypriots before 1974. Turkey didnt intervene for shits and giggles. If their intention was to take the island in its entirety, they easily had the power to
@ozzygiritli The Turks stopped well short of the British Military bases...they knew what would happen..think Falkland Islands which happened later...!!!!

Another Awesome Adventure Gabriel walking through the Streets and Countryside of Northern Cyprus Thank You🙂Watching from New Brunswick CANADA🙂
I saw it last year, Gabriel. Time to come home to California and enjoy your life...
Oh lord that Moussaka at the end of the video... hubba hubba
Crime against humanity:
Turks changed all the Greek toponyms that were Greek for thousands years.
For example
Kyrenia : Greek toponym for 4 thousands years that Turks turned to girne.
That's what Turks do in general
You are an outsider in Cyprus. Turks conquered Cyprus from Venetians dear Rum -not greek- agressor extremist.please donot bark here

Travelling to an area that has been illegaly occupied for decades now is not my cup of tea.
It's occupied by the legal co owners the Turkish Cypriots. Nothing illegal about it.
@@thetraveller1612 what a turkish Cypriot would say... No, he is right Cyprus is illegally occuppied by Turkey after it invaded Cyprus through war(!!) and killing people. The whole world knows it except you it seems
Illegally occupied by Turkey
Drink coffee then.
@thetraveller1612 It's occupied by the Turks who've brought mainland settlers from backwards regions in Turkey who are now a higher population then the Turkish Cypriots. Everything about that place is illegal my friend
Thnx Gabriel
Let me info your subscribers about changing toponymy by Turks after 1974.
What Turks can say if people are informed your that:
"The Greek Island of Cyprus with Greek history for Thousands years, it is the first time after 1974 with no Greeks in the North. Ethnocleansing committed by Turks who changed all the 10,000 Greek names of toponyms in the North. All the thousands Streets and avenues in the cities of the North, which were all Greek until 1974"?
Remember it's not called the northern side its called the occupied side
Geographically, its definitely northern, whether occupied or not.
@@northernblue1093 yes is but politically it’s not northern Cyprus it’s Occupied Cyprus
Are you going to Kutaisi and Mestia from there afterwards ?
Not sure yet but it's possible.
Love Cyprus 🇨🇾❤️ Time that Cyprus was made whole again 🙏
That cannot happen, too complicated.
@@nickthomas181 It is not. It occupation by Turkey.
Gabriel, in Girne you gotta check out belapais, also between Girne and Nicosia in the mountains there is St Hilarion castle its where Walt Disney got his inspiration for the Disney castle, then best beaches in Karpaz, the pan handle go all the way, deserted beaches miles and miles of it, there is also a church their that is still running with Greek people still living there, in Famagusta there is also Salamis, and in Famagusta there is also Varossa/Maras the old ghost town that use to be visited by celebrities, great video, my family cones from the North, happy to see you there, enjoy
What Girne??
You mean Keryneia

Interesting video Gabe. 👌
I want to move to North, from UK is my dream to live on the sun 🌞 ❤ thnk u for the video
My guess was correct
Hello Gabriel
Nice video.
From what I read about Cyprus, it seems that it is now considered a country. Known as the Republic of Cyprus, it is an independent island country. That is what I came across.
Please do some more research.
Maybe you can still add it as a country to your list
Of course Cyprus was/is a country. Just the northeast is Turkish and wanting be away from the Greek influence.
@@brianweber4154 Republic of Cyprus is not "Greek".
It is multiethnic with Greek majority.
I use the UN list of countries. The only country in the world that recognizes Northern Cyprus is Turkey, so it isn't an official country at this point:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Member_states_of_the_United_Nations
@@GabrielTravelerVideos I see......but what about Cyprus as a whole. Isn't it a country? Like without the boundary.
@@gen2196 It's Republic of Cyprus. One country.
Nice one Gabe 👍
I was correct 3 videos ago Back In Kind of Greece haha
Yep.
Brother always have your phone❤ love your videos all rhe best from sweden
Thanks Gabriel. I love Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. I have been there many times and I had good times. Turkish Cypriots were really nice people. Thanks for the video 👏
There is only the occupied part of the island. There is no Turkish republic of Northern Cyprus. Stop using please illegal terms when you write something. Please be careful
So you’re gonna talk about your departure from Israel? Your experience at the airport etc?
I mentioned it at the end of this video: ua-cam.com/video/Ea3qtUbhjaA/v-deo.html
So pretty!
Nice cover of Creep at the end there 😅
Gabriel, hope your day is amazing. Have you ever completed the Camino de Santiago?
You too. No, I haven't walked it yet.
Good shot of the Arkin Colony Hotel, boujie paradise…I’d like to live there DAMN 😊
That radiohead cover at the end 🔥🔥🔥🔥
So weird! Jazzy version of Creep by Radiohead! Brilliant video as always Gabe, thank you x
Looks to me like it could be anywhere in southern Europe hey
Out of curiosity, what sort of phone plan do you use when hopping from country to country?
T-Mobile.
It’s not the Turkish side, it’s illegally occupied by the Turks. Pls stop saying Turkish side.
haha lol
It's the Turkish Cypriot side the side that legally co owns the Republic of Cyprus. The same Turkish Cypriots the Greek Cypriots tried to violently ethnically cleanse whilst trying to illegally unite with Greece. They failed and they've been crying ever since!!
Let's mention about the doings of EOKA, killed Cypriot Turks and the British..
All Greek names and everything in the earth is evidence of Greek history
Hi gabe!
Howdy. ✌️
What an amazing video Gabriel, you have already shown me places I didn't even know existed and I live here, beautiful. However the food was very expensive for the North, but the music more than made up for it. If your still here, message me, lots more to see.
Great vid Gabe, I was on the "other" side of Cyprus last October, had a great time, hope you have a great time as well ^^ ^^
Cyprus ...very touristy place ,but i like Greek and Turkish food [ Your Beard looks very UNTIDY ]🍷🍷🍷🍷
If their intention was to take the island in its entirety, they easily had the power to
@@ozzygiritli Go back into your hole
@ozzygiritli The Turks stopped well short of the British Military bases...they knew what would happen..think Falkland Islands which happened later...!!!!
Exactly and I won't watch Gabriel's videos from occupied Cyprus as a protest to his vist there. And I wish (sorry Gabe) his videos from there tanked. Just posting this and leaving
LOVE the live music at the restaurant closing out the video. ❤🤟
