HI! I'm Heather and I'm so glad you're here. My husband, kiddos, and I live on 3/4 of an acre in beautiful Pennsylvania Dutch county. I'm a two year breast cancer survivor, so of course that impacts the way we cook, eat, and live. If you're new to my channel, you can expect to find recipes that are whole food, nutrient dense, and refined sugar free. A lot of what we cook comes directly from our yard... but I also love finding healthy options at the grocery store! So if you're into wholesome foods, refined sugar free baking, gardening, backyard chickens, and raising free range children... welcome bestie!
I haven't tried... but I'm guessing it would be great with buttercup, rampicante, honey nut, Georgia candy roaster... any winter squash that is similar in taste and texture. I bet there are a lot of squash that would give this soup an even better flavor than butternut to be honest!

I think it would help to brown or roast the veggies before adding the wet ingredients. The caramelization of the veggies adds a delightful flavor.
It probably really would!
“That’s kind of disappointing.” Priceless.
Lol... it real was disappointing though 😬🤣 It's much better now!
I've heard oven roasting first really brings out the flavor. Also a lil salt at each stage also.
Can you make this with other types of squash?
