The final page actually has godly/heavenly undertones within the Japanese text that did not carry over to the English translation. Seems like Kaneshiro wants to set up Kaiser's goal to be one like no other. Like the 'luck' Kaiser calls out isn't your ordinary luck 運 (un) that has previously been brought up in past matches but WILL OF HEAVEN/heavenly luck 天運 (ten un). Then the chapter ending note uses 我 (ware) to refer to Kaiser in first person which is generally used for dramatic effect and higher beings in media.
Hey someone else noticed that too 😁 I like his writing style. The title for the next chapter makes more sense when you think about that
I love the chapter so much, because it brings so much setup and possible scenarios, how the game can continue from Bastard side. First of all Kaiser will score to 100%, it makes from narrative perspective only sense and we get already foreshadowing for that. But the more interesting is what will happen after the goal, I will count on some of the possible scenarios. The three players I will pick out for that are Kiyora Jin, Ness, Hiori, because that are the most important in my eyes in which decision it will go.
1. Kiyora Jin, Ness and Kaiser will be the other new trio to Kurona, Hiori and Isagi. Just like in PXG with the trio, which works for Shidou system Karasu, Zantetsu and the Rin system with Tokimitsu, Nanase. That would mean that Ness is willing to work with Kiyora Jin in order to increase Kaiser chances to win.
2. Hiori will now support also Kaiser and don't be fully on the Isagi's side, because Hiori want to assists best striker and when he sees Kaiser on the same level or higher than Isagi, then he plays with him too and going more a Sae - Charles role, where he assists the one, who has the better opportunity to score and that would make him a new potential ace for whole team.
3. Very simple Ness will be left out, because Kaiser working now with Kiyora Jin and the other teammates instead of him and otherwise Ness will try everything to worth enough to work with Kaiser again. Going in a life or death situation (Maybe getting a development or getting crushed can go in both ways) or Ness betrayal, which I think many would wish, but honestly from how I sees Ness's character it's the least possible scenario in my eyes. I think rather Ness will try to do everything to work with Kaiser and success or getting crushed.
But that are only some of the possible scenarios, they are many more also depends of substitution etc. But I wanted to say some of my theories and maybe I will call it out
If ness does get pushed out of kaisers team, then he might potentially be subbed out giving isagi or Kaiser another opportunity to recruit a new teammate, the few reasons why I suggest ness being potential subbed out later is because, like you said, he doesn’t seem like the person to betray Kaiser, therefore he wouldent be likely to side with isagi, however I doubt Kaiser will accept ness back which would end up in ness getting subbed up due to him having no allies, now if ness continues passing to Kaiser regardless then he might not be subbed out, but I think it’d be interesting if he did
Honestly I'm not surprised that Kiyora picked Kaiser. From the character's POV he has a stronger reason to select Kaiser; Isagi stopped Kiyora from playing in their last match from Ubers halting his potential player value, Kaiser has a higher value than Isagi so comparitevly speaking Kaiser is worth more, and lastly Kaiser's recent evolution makes him a new wild card on the play as while Isagi has been progressively growing from each game but Kaiser has been a consistent high valued player and an evolution would let him keep pace with Isagi.
Narritevly speaking it makes sense, as if Isagi was to get the final shot via Kiyora picking him then Isagi would've beaten his two main rivals in Rin and Kaiser in just a single game.
That will be his last game since Kiyora will never be picked again for forming the Japan WC team since isagi and rin will be the centered players. They have already hinted at the starters for the WC team. He should pick the best side not the logical one since he is still fighting for the position in BLUE LOCK. Let's be honest the blue lock team already has a stack of players and baruo will always be at the bench player for the wildcard effect. Isagi has already completed all the allies that he needed for forming a team they're just currently on the separate parts and leveling up for them to be stronger.

@@bluu151 I respect your opinion however I'm fully aware Kiyora will not be part of WC bluelock team since it's already stack with players. If you ever notice, all positions were already filled. All GK and defenders were already filled with aikanu and niko will be part of it. AMD will be isagi and FW rin then nagi, bachira and reo will fill all the remaining positions. Don't forget the isagi team that is currently in Bastard Munchen is helping him to overtake kaiser. Bottomline Kiyora will not be part of the WC team.
@AnthonyArevalo-xw8ml kiyora will make it to 23rd spot since he's always "within the boundaries". it doesn't matter if the positions are filled since something called "substitutions" exist😭 what happens when bachira nagi or reo gets injured or subbed out? someone will have to sub in.

Dont forget, Isagi is the reason Kiyora didnt have any minutes last game so ofc he is siding with Kaiser.
And Isagi will be the reason why Kiyora won't have any mintutes in future matches when Ego build the team around Isagi and he realizes that Kyora has zero chemistry with him.

but I don't think Kiyora is thinking about the Japan u20 team right now. What matters most is that he needs to increase his value in order to finish in the top 23. This is his last opportunity, and the reason he doesn't have much opportunity because Isagi wants Hiori since he can't score without his bestie. which for me this is incredibly rude and self-centered. If you consider Kiyora's perspective, it will negatively impact his football career in the future. Even though Kaiser only scores once per game, each goal is impressive and high value; you know, he doesn't need to mimic some of Nagi's movement to score (pls don't mad this is my opinion) Kaiser impact magnus is more impressive than two gun valley anyway

Just like he practiced means the ball was stationary when he practiced the Magnus Shot. I think it is a bit awkward for a goal to be near the start of a chapter so I think there is a 50/50 chance it misses. If there is an explanation or backstory before the shot then the shot scoring in the middle or end would make sense

Isagi is so broken in the NEL that even Kaiser after his evolution, in the best possible situation for his new shot in not sure to score.
Isagi is in the last 6 goals of BM, he's part of every winning goal since the 4v4 against Rin (A vs B ; U20 ; 3 NEL games)
If Isagi manage to steal it, it can be the very first Plotsagi moment in the manga (Doesn't know the Magnus + doesn't have the body of Kunigami to steal a high ball like that), and if Kaiser miss then get him out of the pitch since even in the best situation he can't score
That's crazy, even more when you think about the fact that Kaiser never beat Isagi as a footballer (So trying to sabotage Isagi doesn't count), even the goal against Uber was a Hyena goal scored thank to Isagi. Kaiser has been a threat for about 10 chapters, Isagi with MV during Manshine is already better than Kaiser haha

Superstar could mean Isagi instead of Kaiser. Kaiser has no ego to be the best in world, Isagi does. Just because Kaiser scores 1 goal now doesn’t translate into being a super star. However, Isagi scoring back to back goals would make him a superstar imo.

I like Kaiser but I think he will not score. I would prefer it that Isagi scores a hattrick, so he is the "Main-Striker" in the World-Cup ark. Then in the first game of the group stage they gonna play Germany and lose against Kaisers perfect impact or something like that. In my opinion this is a much better character development for Isagi than loosing now. Another indicator that Kaiser won't score, is that the Luck puzzle piece is Isagi's thing. I don't think that Kaiser would get a puzzle piece for his goal. Personally I like my idea better but if Kaiser will score it would be also fire.

Only issue with Kaiser scoring now is that the pacing will suffer.
If Kaiser scores, this match will just be Ubers 2.0, Isagis intent of a hat trick is the only thing that will keep the match pacing where it needs to be.
I dont mind if Kaiser scores but his goal NEEDS to be the final goal, it's too early now and Isagi needs this next goal.
