Good video, but I would improve a thing. As the USSR you hace unlimited fuel, so you should have trained your navy from day 1 to farm some naval experience. You should have trained your airforce too to make things easier in the early game
@rafaellynx5332 And youtube usually allows them to comment but then can Delete real humans comments and claim "that was a bot" Clearly they only care about money
Should "Historical Focus" really include specific generals who will be purged Kinda gives you a crystal ball on who to select for promotions. Yes yes yes, you can use the foci to guide your decisions on foreign policy, but specific people feels overly specific.
Hi, instead of cancelling war goals and rejustifying them you can justify on multiple states on your first justification to increase the time the war goal will take. It will also cost less PP and world tension to do that.
Good job, great video. Also can't help but notice the "slight dislike" of Russia that transpires 😂 (hey dont get me wront im not gonna blame a Pole for hating he Russians)
Ah look at that peacefull old dedusha at the thumbnail, i bet he had wonderfull life helping people around him, cant wait to google about him and find more ! 😊 😳
Man, I started watching your videos to improve my English while watching my favorite gameplays to study abroad. And guess what. I learnt you are Polish only after coming to Poland. 😅 Btw, you speak English very well considering almost all Polish folks I have met have a hard Slavic accent 😅
Thank you. Two reasons for that - I started learning English when I was 6 years old. Second reason - my memory is audio-focused. I have trouble remembering pictures, but remember sounds very well.
For war goal syncing, would justifying on multiple states for your first war goal to delay the first one without having to waste PP by cancelling and re activating it?
I know a long, long time ago (definitely before the "no step back" DLC), it was possible to simply fabricate on Poland, then go ahead and fabricate on Germany and actually take them out while ignoring the Purge focus, and actually beat Germany in time. I'm far from being a good player, wouldn't even call myself a decent one, but I pulled that off easily enough. I wonder... Can you still do that in the game nowadays? I would assume not, right?
Justify on dei > naval invade netherlands from there paradrop uk. Soviet start is very rasy. Also merge navies into one big stack, line aa is trash, other than that good stuff
Question - can't you just let the civil war boil over and win as a faction of your choice? Don't make any choices to purge anybody, trigger his madness, pick faction, win by exploit. I use this method for Poland as their civil war doesn't spawn free divisions so it's very easy to cheese with Proper Heritage.
is it just me or is there a super feint ringing noise in the background of the video, just enough that with headphones i can hear it and be distracted by it
The paranoia mechanic is one of the cringiest mechanics in the game, Stalin and the party had actual objectives with the purges, regardles if they were effective or not they weren't done just because he was a "crazy man", and no, i'm not the biggest fan of stalin
@@robminns8395 the ruthless is not in question, the paranoia however is something heavily debated, and, more importantlly, the aplications of it in a game that is suposed to represent war and socioeconomic paths, and less about characters and personalities, by all means make the purge a core thing about the stalin path, but don't portray it as some bizarre "mad man" mechanic. ironically, the italian power struggle mechanic makes way more sense for a country like the USSR that actually had radically diferent policies in each wing than a fascist country whose policies often were capriciously vague
Remember watching you play as a noob. You’ve been playing for years and years. Used to love watching you but just even a tiny bit of experience in the game tells me just how bad you are at this. I mean not knowing how to use navy after all these years? Not knowing how strike force just gives more naval superiority? Navy is really not that hard but it frustrates me to no end to see all these UA-camrs who have been playing this game for a decade just act like noobs
Bro just stop hating he has a child and a wife he doesn't need to know all that he maybe forgot or something. I was watching him from almost the start and maybe he isn't the best at it but he's trying. He's trying to entertain people. I'm suggesting you to stop hating other people bc people will start to hate you
USSR dream came true, they finally got a port with easy warm water access to the Atlantic. All they had to do is fight some windmills!
Everyone talks about bittersteel being the best single player guy but not Taureor. The guy is unrecognized talent
I love how on brand the initial invasion is. A sneak attack so sneaky that even the Russians were caught flat footed.
Good video, but I would improve a thing. As the USSR you hace unlimited fuel, so you should have trained your navy from day 1 to farm some naval experience. You should have trained your airforce too to make things easier in the early game
Ahhh, the ASMR HOI4 man is back with a long form video...
Your voice is on point, made for radio/broadcast that
Always remember the great achievement of the explorer Ben Dover!
And his brother Seymour Butts
And who can forget Ivana Hugandkist?
Ahh, World conquest is the best opener. Wish i had known earlier :)
Thanks a lot! Finally, I made Germany a puppet (achievement) + learnt a few tricks I may use in the future!
All of this in Vanilla (no DLC game)
Remember, dark humour is like food. Not everybody gets it.
- Stalin.
Funny joke
2 bots with the same comments...
Yeah UA-cam is infested with these.
love it when bots randomly spam the comments of a married man with a child
Bots can copy comments, it's to get likes and subscribers
But it is really funny when they copy each other for some reason
@rafaellynx5332 And youtube usually allows them to comment but then can Delete real humans comments and claim "that was a bot" Clearly they only care about money
Another great video i really love these long videos
holy shit Ive never even heard of floating habors being used, that's crazy
Thanks for the opener! I figured an early Turkey war would be good, but I didn't think of doing Netherlands at the same time.
Supcio filmik Taureor 👍
The best way to beat Stalin... is to BE Stalin. A true gem. Wisdom.
The spike to poor Lev gives you effectively 10pts of stability.
Ive got over 1000 hours in hoi 4 and I'm just now learning about Liberated Workers. Smh
Just yesterday I was pondering on how to play Soviet Union efficiently, today I saw this! Thank you!
My guy we aren’t even playing the same game anymore 💀
Should "Historical Focus" really include specific generals who will be purged Kinda gives you a crystal ball on who to select for promotions. Yes yes yes, you can use the foci to guide your decisions on foreign policy, but specific people feels overly specific.
wow! soviet union best opener for hoi4.
also paranoia and world domination
nahh really? with paranoia and world domination?
Hi, instead of cancelling war goals and rejustifying them you can justify on multiple states on your first justification to increase the time the war goal will take. It will also cost less PP and world tension to do that.
I'm pretty sure it generates more world tension
THANK YOU for this video!!
Mistake 2: You should have take foreign experts it gives you decision that gives cap and output
Good job, great video. Also can't help but notice the "slight dislike" of Russia that transpires 😂 (hey dont get me wront im not gonna blame a Pole for hating he Russians)
generally foreign experts is better because you get decisions to upgrade it
Ah look at that peacefull old dedusha at the thumbnail, i bet he had wonderfull life helping people around him, cant wait to google about him and find more ! 😊

@@Taureor , quite interesting but useful in your case.
The trosky assasination removes the trosky modifier russia has (Think 15% or 0.15 negative pp)
For war goal syncing, would justifying on multiple states for your first war goal to delay the first one without having to waste PP by cancelling and re activating it?
Yes, but it creates more world tension, so there is more risk

Bro can't hold his urge to repeat some anticommunist cliché, he's a McCarthyist machine
Close. A citizen of a country that experienced communist oppression :)
figures for a pole
nice strategy. I go through Spain and the Middle East for the UK, feels more roleplaying
Taking Berlin from the west with soviet, interesting strat :)
Yeah i wanted to see the min max taureor
hello everyone, this is taueror viewer 😝😝
India is expensive cus the large pop just new deli will give u around 2mil rec pop at 40 compliance i think

It would trigger big purges before civil war. So you will lose all your commanders, fleet, aviation, advisers
I think you forgot about Turkey and France bordering it.
my first purge was Zhukov :(
Hope theite one is feeling better :)
Cheers bud
How did Sudan end up independent?
Look bro, im at my wits end, can you do a White Russia run?
is it just me or is there a super feint ringing noise in the background of the video, just enough that with headphones i can hear it and be distracted by it
yes i hear it too
30:18 Building trains but why not armored trains?
Good old Benjamin
I wash myself with a rag on a stick
Hello, can you remake Wilhelm II run?
Would love to see Japan next
Okay
Why NKVD focus? how does it work for it to matter so much? im noob please explain, tanks a lot
subversive activities cost reduction
@@Taureor super thanks!
❤❤❤❤❤ its been awhile!
It just isn't a Taureor video without at least some noises from their child being featured. I hope you and your family are doing well!
> One of the most evil people in history.
Oh, that tiktok history.
Any reason for doing collectivist propaganda over the heroes path? Surely it’s better to have the advisors and org over the recovery rate?
I'll be honest most of the war between anything Russia does you'll have supply issues the recovery rate is much easier to use if you're Org is capped.
come on man it was ONE FAMINE XD

Yeah it's definitely cringe to slightly misrepresent a murderous tyrant who was famously paranoid.
