NJ Transit & Amtrak Along the High Speed Stretch (6/9 & 6/11)

I’m here in North Brunswick which is about 20 minutes south of Jersey Av station by walking distance we have high speeding NJ Transit trains and Amtrak trains flying above 100mph along the NJ speedway that can possibly allow trains to run up to at least 145mph. Caught the new Amtrak Aveila Liberty test trains too which was unexpected. Enjoy the catches

I am surprised you caught one of the PLs heading east from Philly I assume, must have been the engine that was on the Atlantic City Line for a bit or NJTR just ran out of work engines for a move hah

Idk when the Avelia is testing next but you should go to Princeton Junction so you could see it at full speed. Hopefully you catch it unless you know the testing schedules

They usually test on a Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday or a Friday. I just don’t know the exact days of testing . But what i do know is that when they test it’s usually after 9:00. When i caught the testing Acelas Wednesday and Friday night they were unexpected. Hopefully i can get the test schedules so i can actually head out to Princeton Junction to catch the full speed run
