Im a photography student! High key means that the lighting will be very bright, almost white. The big details will show up, but the rest will be completely light/white. :)
the Hi-key button is to make your photos lighter, like if you think the photo is gonna turn out dark you put the hi-key on & it should turn out lighter, so if it's already really light where you're taking it don't use it!
Fun Fact! Don't shake the photo! It's going to make the ink spread and ruin the photo, because it is inside the cover, so it's under a thin film. Just be very careful Q-Q And it's better to buy the 50 pack of film because it's 30/35$
It doesn't print the picture it is the picture, film is a chemical that burns when light touches it, so when u release the shutter you are letting light into the lens and hitting the film, thus burning a picture. So much better than digital

I have the instax share and I think it's a better deal than the instax mini. Instant cameras are known for their "washed" photo finish so having the ability to edit your photo to be more than the normal color will really change the outcome. Just trying to help someone out. :)

Like if you're taking a picture of your friends, but then they end up in the corner of the picture but when you were taking the picture and looked into the little eye thing it was angled perfectly, but the picture wasn't?

When you take the photo mine are coming out really bright, peoples faces are pale? When I twist the lense to get different settings the light doesn't change from the first one, or is it not supposed to, or what setting is best to use to get a good quality photo? i bought the "Polaroid 300 instant camera" today and it works with the fujifilm instax mini cartridges too!
Does the image ever fade after time..? or will it last for a while?

That setting is how much exposure your reviving and you have to set it on the opposite so that your picture will come out more clear.

the hi-key makes it a softer picture, so it didnt not come out right, it just softens the picture

It's says on their website "Setting the brightness adjustment dial to the high-key mode mark allows you to take pictures with a softer impression." :)
For me , i think the high key mode really dries super fast. And the skin tone is just perfect.

tip: You can get films on ebay for pretty cheap (say 70-90 euro cents per film) and the more you buy at once the cheaper the cost per film.
