i luv film camera but honestly it's such a pain in a** to go through the process of paying for developing films and etc that's why i ended up opting for old digicams! i'm hoping tho sumday u'll get your film rolls developed cos it will be such a waste ^^
feel like this is the better, more realistic and better colour science version of the iPhone camera; it doesn't have special effects like a film photo would turn out but the way it captures photos so true to the photo and zooms in without having the image pixelated is so great, unlike the iPhone camera. it would be great for anyone who wants to pursue photography on a superficial surface or for social media contents bc this is SO much better than the phone camera but if you want a drastic/out-of-the-world quality image, then it would be better if you go for a professional dslr/mirrorless camera
The FinePix a40p was our family’s camera back in the mid 2000s. I found it just recently and surprisingly it still works! Good thing the 1gb XD card was still there and the mini usb cord for easy file transfers. I bought AA usb-c rechargeable li-ion batteries kasi ang mahal nung energizers and naguguilty ako everytime i throw out batteries hahah. I brought the cam to school and sobrang saya everyone liked the shots it felt like 2006 lmao!
1 gb xd card wah!! that's a huge storage! couldn't agree more sa part na sobrang sayang if di tayo gumagamet ng non-rechargable bats. that's why i actually think double aa rechargable bats are a great investments (worth it talaga sya at the end)
@@etsyfilms yes, so glad the 1gb card was still in there, xd cards are hard to find na pala ngayon esp the bigger capacity ones. It can store 1,100 photos (i have the 4.1 mpix model) the rechargeable AA batts I ordered were just a little more expensive than a 4pack AA Energizers. Theyre charged via the type c port on the batteries itself. Bought it on shopee for around 350 pesos for 2 AA batts.
you do have a point; i got three of my cameras from thrift stores/flea markets, my latest being a 16.1mp NIkon that i got for 7$, definitely wayyyy cheaper than having to buy and develop film.
I also have this cheap and old camera that I found and I am happy to even found it-- theyre cutee, enough to fit like a toy but it made me happy. Back then when it was given to me, I don't appreciate it that much but I guess things really did changed and Im happy that I didnt throw nor give it to others away. It is practically a gift from my old/young self (now that small things make me happy) And yes, digi cams can be a good alternative for film cams - you just have to experiment on its settings a little bit and get your desired creative vision. Oh wait youre a filipino/or from ph too, hi
if you have digicam that can give priority for ISO.. make sure lock on around 800 iso.. the picture will give a similar vibe like film look about 50 to 60 percent.
I have an old finepix I liked well. My mother loved her canon. But like a lot of these things, hers had an odd battery that you just couldn’t get replaced.
I want to grow by exploring, appreciating and treasuring all the moments of my life. I badly want to have an digital camera or recorder but as of now, my parents won't allow me because its too expensive, and hoping that I can enhace my skills in photography and filming .
I have an olympus VG - 130 at home, it belongs to my dad and i totally love it even thought the picture quality isn't that good but it contains alot of memories and and picture clarity doesn't matter when the memories are beautiful
So cool! You put so much work into this video! I still have my purple Polaroid i1037 that I have had since high school and this inspired me to get some batteries for it. I can recommend that one too, I took some really nice pictures with it, and its small/light enough to carry easily. I know my parents had a finepix so I might ask if they still have it now haha
Hi! I also really enjoy these vintage digital cameras, I own a fujifilm finepiz jz300 which i found on a local market. I really enjoyed this video and the highligths you add :D It was very calming and pleasing to watch
You may have already discovered it but almost every digital camera has a language option in the Menu. Yours may be set for Japanese but you should be able to switch that to English (or other languages).
Thank you so much for video, I find it literally one of the most helpful videos on UA-cam on this tipic. I am inspired and want to buy a camera. Have a great day!
Hey I really love the outputs!!! I just got suddenly obsessed w/ vintage 2000's digicam like a few days ago and your video popped up lol Actually I got Sony cyber shot dsc-t77 which is very similar to dsc-t70 (they even share the manual book) in PINK literally SO FREAKING CUTE and I'm happy to see dsc-t70 in your recommendation list cuz I didn't know a thing about cameras lmao I really appreciate your work!!!
There s a page in my country which sells film cameras for around 10-40 Francs (which is roughly the same for $) I personally only use film for special occasions, like going on holidays with friends or going to the beach or a party. I don’t use it for every day. I think then it’s just the bonus of being excited bc u don’t know exactly how they ll turn out
i have no idea where to get these cameras! i wanna try photography so bad since ive used my nintendo 3ds for that 2000s feeling camera but the quality is so bad XD
I have one old hand cam of late 2000's and I tried to like it, but couldn't. The pics of that cam type are really not my cup of tea. But after watching this video makes me want to give it one last try before I sell it. And we also have one old handycam which is not working, Maybe I'll check that out as well in one of these days. Cool video btw!!
hi! i just got a fujifilm jx280 instead of the 200 (which you want to try) by mistake 😭 i don’t understand much about cameras, especially not when comparing to film. the specs seem to be the same except the one i got has 14mpx instead of 12 and it has custom white balance. i was wondering if that would affect the film effect of the pictures? i’m so sorry to be asking here! no one i know knows much about cameras and no matter how much i try to understand what i’m reading i just. can’t 💀 but i thoroughly loved your video so much! the pictures were really good and you inspired me to get a camera. thank you so much ❤️
I have a Casio Exilim (I don't know the rest of the name because I no longer have the manual or the box) that I used at the time to take photos for Orkut (a social network that no longer exists), I found it a few days ago, it has several defects because I had given it to my daughter to play with, so it's not in good condition but it works, the problem is that I couldn't put the battery in to charge because the charger has a different plug than the sockets in my house, and I couldn't get one adapter that matches it.
Nice to see :-). I have the Finepix E500, the E510 and some other older Digicams. It´s realy fun to shoot with them. With greetings from lower Bavaria.

Something about this video really gave me happyy vibess
Nice! Fujifilm made a bunch of cool digicams with that great „super ccd“ sensor.
