It gets hard, but unless you are walking around barefoot, you wont notice. And even if you are barefoot, its not horrible. I’d make sure that it’s put down nice and flat if it is in a home where people are barefoot.
I always use a lighter and melt the end of the plastic cap on the glue to close it up and it doesn't dry up.
