Ah yes Johnny Robert's. Wish it was the old layout. Courses around here are getting smaller and smaller and this sport keeps getting larger.
I've been here before. I was throwing at a similar course and was just throwing terrible tee shots on hole 15. Expended all my putters, took out a Bounty and shanked it into a tree about halfway down the fairway, tree directing into the basket without chains. Most depressing Ace ever....

Everybody in the comments just casually talking about how they had similar reactions to aces, meanwhile if I ever ace any hole I’ll be screaming for 15 minutes straight 😂
Ive been playing for about 20 years and 2 weeks ago I just now got my first ace after about 5 or 6 really close calls. Was just a casual round with a friend, was a very short hole, about 170' and I went apeshit lol!! Thought for certain I'd go to the grave without an ace and finally bagged one. I dont care if it was an easy hole or a difficult one, dont care that only 2 other people saw it, I'll always remember it even if I never get another!
You know it’s a short course when you don’t have to zoom in to find the disc🤣 this ace is the equivalent to getting a hole in one at a putt putt course if anything less exciting

I chained out of 2 aces in the same round yesterday on hit dead center just like that and spit right out

Considering all the distances are jump putts I get why. 🤷😂
I was throwing alone for a while today and these guys let me skip them .On my drive I managed to hit the basket on the 250 foot shot.

i wish there was more putter only courses .. not as exciting but it would force me and others to work on a good approach shot
At this point im convinced is ever gonna happen lol. Ive been playing for 7 years and have hit metal/chains probably 30 to 50 times, but never actually aced a hole
I got my first ace at Johnny's. Fun lil course to fart around at.
Edit: Y'all. This is specifically a putter course. There's maybe one hole you could justify use of a midrange disc on, but sometimes you don't wanna trek out to and lose discs at Fehringer. The comments are so cynical, it sucks the soul out of my eyes.

First week playing: OMG that was sick
Fourth year playing: took long enough
You start to hit that point after awhile where you just say "finally"😭 and move on like nothing happened

Has anyone ever seen a roller Ace before? I have, it was so sweet and yes the guy was trying for it 👍.
I told him I have been trying for it for the last few weeks with no luck yet (hit metal twice trying so far)🤷.
He was very hesitant to give it a go, but decided to listen to me and it stuck 👍.
It cost me $5 but it was so worth it😂.
