A few tips: 1) Artillery in regiments is noticeably more deadly than Wargame: Red Dragon or GHPC. It is important that you move your units (especially artillery) very often as enemy artillery will chip away their HP so damned fast. 2) You can afford to be more aggressive, although not reckless of course. I played the French RIMA Regiment in War Paths and it is so beautiful how fast they are during maneuver. Try to defend by employing the entirety of your strategic depth. Force Soviets to fight for every inch and attride their forces as much as you can to buy time for your TAC-AIDs. Maneuver and Fire is the key Overall, beautiful content. I really love it.
For future reference, during the part where there are all the blue circles on the ground and you can place barbed wire, anti-tank positions, etc., you can also place your actual units. That way they'll be in position and entrenched right at the beginning.
That last fight between the Leopards 1s vs VDV went pretty much as expected as tanks were extremely suppressed so their shots were terrible, and they closed the distance which allowed the infantry to utilize their AT weapons. Btw, you can also set up the units in your command into the "deployment areas" during the deployment stage, too.

Glad you're finally visiting the War Paths part of this game. My favorite Cold War RTS
Please keep the Regiments content coming, loving it so far
This is honestly my first team seeing the Canadian Army in a Cold War game and especially the inclusion of the 4th Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group
