From what people in the know have said and what I've read it seems like if it says in the case all the time the gas off has no place to go and you get rob. But you keep it out in the fresh air you have a better chance of it not going bad. Like I said thats just the conclusion I came to from hearing and reading on the subject. It sure was a pretty guitar. Did you own it a long time?

No it never had any binding issues at all. It went to a new home last year
