How to fix 3DR Solo that won't factory reset - Solid orange light - Waiting on Solo

If your 3DR Solo won't factory reset and the controller says "waiting on solo", your SD card probably needs to be removed and reseated. Most people can remove and then replace their SD card and this will fix the issue. There are some instances where people have to reflash the SD card with the 4 files that exist on there, I did not have to do this.

Thank you so much!!! Had a Solo that would not pair. Reseated the SD card in the solo and it paired up right away. Was able to install open solo 4 and side pilot no problem. Thanks again

How you reflash the card ? I buy a new SD card and write only 1 file !!!! the image file only , but some one said is 4 files???? some one help me how many files I need to transfer to my SD card?????

Hey, read the video description. You need to join that FB group and they have the updated SD files and instructions for flashing it. I didn't have to do it so I can't tell you what to do.

Hi Nick. I reset the sd card in the controller once and in the Solo twice. Still doesn't work. I think it is the Solo though because I tried a different controller and it says the same thing Waiting on Solo. Any Ideas?? I have a Wifi signalfrom the controller but nothing from the Solo.

I had the same problem after factory reset . I tried everything. Luckily I still have 2 old galaxy with the app still working and I was able to run the app and install the software. Now is working.
