  • France is sending in extra police to its Pacific Territory New Caledonia following a second night of chaos.
This is the aftermath of the protests over plans to change voting laws there with rioters burning cars and clashing with authorities.
82 people have been arrested and 54 police injured.
France is now inviting New Caledonian political leaders to Paris for talks over the proposed reforms.
