    www.scaletrain...
I had the opportunity to test run a pre-production sample of the C39-8 with factory installed LokSound over the weekend and would like to thank ScaleTrains for the opportunity. Check it out as it leads a coal train on our NS Asheville District layout. Also featured in this video is our custom built coal mine that is actually operational. You can learn more about how my father and I built the coal mine here:

PN 8212 runs within earshot of my house on an almost nightly basis... they hit a home run with this model for sure, the sounds and appearance are perfect.

Excellent layout and the addition of sound makes it almost life like. You need to visit a switching yard and record the "Roll out as I call it" sound. The sound of coupling a long train as it ripples down the track.

Todd, the unloading process will be done via rotary dumper, which is actually located directly above the mine. It will dump directly into the hopper that feeds the mine. As of right now, however, it is not completed. It's on the to-do list! Thanks for watching - Josh
