Problem is Patek Philippe’s don’t have Chinese quartz movements
Napolitano 071 and they take years to make, a movement can take several decades to perfect and also these are handmade in very limited quantity.

Why Patek? I think he answered the question. Along with Rolex, Pateks has an active market for used timepieces in varying conditions. Can’t compare it with a used suit which goes for much much less on eBay.

I always only buy the Ralph Lauren items on clearance/sale. The quality for the sale price tag makes it worth it imo. It’s better than GAP quality for sure. It ages better through the wash cycles
I stumbled on this video and I'm happy the people watching realize that RL is just good clothes. I've also never paid MSRP and wait for sales, plus the quality is top notch enough that you can buy second hand pieces at less than the cost of an equivalent H&M piece and it will still last longer.

I agree with all your opinions, except Patek Philippe. You proudly own at least three rolex watches, and you say PP i overpriced. The time and quality spent on a PP is waaaay higher than the time and quality spent on a rolex. Pluss the fact that Rolex produces an insane amount of watches compared to PP. Supply and demand alpha, i thought you knew this. The same goes for a brand like FP Journe or Vacheron constantin as well. You should know better.

I am also a watch geek but he is absolutely right. Patek is undoubtedly one of the highest end horology brands and have some amazing watches, but others are just shamefull. You got to understand that they have watches without hacking and cheap printed dials, no complications and they charge 12000 dollars for them.... let's be honest for a second. They also imported movements from JLC which has every bit of the same quality and attention to detail, better or same movements and are 4-5 times cheaper. JLC are probably the best bang for buck in high horology, the rest is marketing
oly neagu Well what you have to understand about Patek is three things, 1. Amazing Quality, among the absolute best, high end materials, complicated movements etc. 2. Status symbol, simple as. 3. They keep there value or even appreciate with time, like many Pateks have and that’s vintage n new models. Patek should been seen as an investment not a liability. That Vincero will be worthless once you click buy, so the Patek is actually the sensible option if you have the money for it

Personally Ralph is my favorite brand. I have never payed full price. You can pay attention to their site and find good deals, I have polos that are 5 or 6 years old and still look good. Although I respect your opinion. I do agree with Hermès, that brand is darn expensive and its not worth it.

I have worn Polo Ralph Lauren clothing since I was a kid. My dad wore Polo Ralph Lauren. The majority of my friends wore and wear Polo Ralph Lauren.
It is one of the gold standard for the preppy/traditional style and their quality is always very solid. Their oxfords, polo shirts, and sweaters are long lasting and worth the price.
I still wear clothing I purchased in college twenty years ago and it looks quite nice yet.
I only buy RLP from goodwill, but my collection is big and it all wears lovely

I feel like you may not have ventured outside of PRL and don’t have much to compare to. In my opinion it is one of the lowest quality clothing on the market. I will say this excludes RL and especially their purple label line - that shit is better than sliced bread but super expensive.

I personally am not a fan of super expensive watches. I get fake G-Shocks that costs about $4 in my country and I think they're cool (but I rarely even use watches).
That being said, everyone can like anything. No matter if it's ugly, cheap or expensive as hell; if you want it, go rock it.
Also, I can understand that Vincero kinda looks okay? But another thing that matters is durability. If these are really the throwaway watch quality they are, people have the right to call it garbage.

I own a vincero, good watch, not the best; but if you're going to take a dump on patek, then you might as well take a dump on all the heritage luxury watches including: cartier, longines, breitling, tag, and your beloved Rolex watches alpha. You can't compare a watch fron patek that uses rare materials and high levels of craftsmanship to a fashion watch like vincero. One of my favorite watches is a 1972 Timex Marlin with a gold sunburst dial; it gets lots of wrist time. MVMT, if I'm not mistaken stands, for "movement" which I think has something to do with evacuating the bowels.

He's not pushing luxury items though. And that's what Patek makes. I feel like he's essentially saying he doesn't get the point of luxury watches when you can get a good fashion watch for thousands less. You buy Patek for the name more than anything and very few people watching this video actually have enough experience with them to legitimately call him out on it. I recently purchased some Polo brown jeans that were originally $98. I paid $39. I like your content Alpha but find it hypocritical that in a video that's about rip-off, you portray Vincero as a bargain. I realise people may not be that much into watches and just buy one for its aesthetics but calling Vincero/Daniel Wellington/MVMT "affordable luxury" and that they are worth the money is a bit far fetched. These watches retail round 150-200$ and are actually worth 40-70$ max. The exact same watches, produced by the exact same Chinese factories without the branding name are at least 60% less expensive. People are free to spend their money wherever they want, however they should know exactly what are they getting. I know they are your sponsors and that's why I am leaving this comment so people can have a better understanding.

I get what you mean as an owner of watches of different levels of luxury, but i get where Aarons coming from. I mean if we are going for horology, of course PP will outclass Vincero cos they belong to a different category of watches. there are tons of videos on the urban gentry on this. but we cant really compare them using the same standards. Alpha's content is about lifestyle and about helping men get compliments and score dates. so its understandable that going for a vincero is a much viable option. @@theboogeyman5736 it's the fact that RL clothing lasts for ages. An H&M polo would fade and get loose around the waist after 5 washes. A Zara polo lost it 's printed birds pattern after like a combined wore of idk, 2 months ? The collars also start to roll up and they're pretty hard to make them stay put. It's not just the t-shirts. RL makes very good denim, sportswear , good quality jackets that are also fashionable and most important, they make top notch suits, smokings and formal-wear. As far as I know RL donates a lot of money to charity. They sell t-shirts and a lot of stuff called "pink RL". The entire sum is supposed to go into breast and ovary cancer research. There you go :). You can also find RL stuff cheaper. Shirts can also be found for around 50 bucks.

I wouldn't say Pete and Pedro is a rip off because the products I have recieved from them are very high quality and are part of the very few products that actually work for me. I cant say much about tiege because I only got the basic pack with moisturizer and stuff ( still worked really good though because my face gets dry spots and tiege Hanley stopped it for me).
